The other day I was in a local B&M and there was a guy looking for his first device and I just wanted to scream, do NOT buy that $40 single 650mah evod starter kit!

I disagree, respectively. Where I work, we sell those units to people who are only using it to quit smoking (aka never gonna be a hobby), don't want a huge, complicated unit (generally older crowd who don't like "fancy technology"), and/or are not wanting to drop a ton of money on something they are unsure on. I would say about half of the 30+ crowd like and enjoy their ego styles and will never progress, if so, just to a vv ego. The other half are gear junkies, and we generally are able to pick them out and start them with units such as the MVP.

I say to each their own, and let them stick with what's comfortable for them. Also if they do upgrade even just their battery, they have a back-up/spare, which is crucial [emoji6].
Another thing is our 650 kit is $30 [emoji4]

Don't try to be the first to try every new device that comes out. Wait for the initial hype to die out and then read the reviews from real users before making a decision.

Lot's of new products get hyped to death before the real world problems start showing up.

The opposite is also true. I smoked menthol for 45 years. I'm now developing a taste for regular tobacco. It's a whole new road to explore.

Agreed. When I first started vaping the only tobacco flavor I could stand was Ikenvapes RY4. Adding to your statement, people who smoked full flavors should not immediately turn away from menthol flavors. I stayed away from menthol for a long time "knowing" I wouldn't like it, but it turned out vaping menthol flavors are outstanding.

It worked for you. Good. But it is rather small sample size.
For me cheap vamo and iclear 16 is working just fine (for now…)
I am more than sure that 2 vamos (I have a spare) will work much longer than 2 MVPs. And I not going to spend money on 1-button provari (not convenient at all). Who knows what is the best thing… Go figure.

Don't buy the disposable ecigs you get from convenience stores. They're overpriced and taste like you know what.

Nothing more annoying than a person comparing everything to " those fake look-alike things ".

Spend a few bucks and get a decent setup. You'll thank yourself later.

If using a mechanical mod, never go to the counter at the airport with you mod held upside down and your thumb resting on the button and demand a better seat. You'll not only will you miss your flight, you'll get the most violent colonoscopy ever.

My tip: You don't have to buy a ton of gear to enjoy vaping. You don't have to spend a ton for good juice. Shop around, read LOTS here for input and don't get in over your head too soon.
