If you quit smoking for better health, your mod choices just went down from 1000's to about 5

I think Angel Eyes must have just upgraded from a spinner to an rDNA40 and thinks he's all that and a bag of chips xD

That may be a tad unfair.
I believe that his concern is genuine. What is lacking in his argument and presentation is critical thinking.

This is always the first thought of an insecure person, they assume the other person is arrogant or otherwise insult them. - Meanwhile, the confident folks assume that the person is just concerned and thoughtful. Unfortunately, the former far outnumber the latter!

Nope. You can't justify your reasoning so now you try and turn around any insult (was obviously a joke) towards you. But whatever, I'll continue on and you live in your own little rDNA40 & Nickel bubble.

The point is, vaping cannot be made completely safe, and we cannot eliminate every risk in life, but we can all do ourselves a HUGE favor and take a big step towards much healthier vaping by choosing devices with temperature limiting.

Or we can play ostrich, like we did with cigarettes!

Yes. That is true. But the other thing we can do is think critically and not take the role of Chicken Little before our peers.
Just sayin...

all this talk of critical thinking - here is some critical thinking, you all know damn well in your heart that when you heat things up past a safe temperature, bad changes occur, and then you want to breath that? - and then wonder why you have health problems? - especially now that we finally have a CHOICE and can buy a much safer device? - that is critical thinking! - good grief!

I'm pretty sure most of us used to smoke cigarettes for years.... so... you know..... there's that. And I'm pretty sure these "health problems" were not caused by vaping, unless you weren't a smoker and started vaping at 100w with 36mg juice on .0001 coils. Then maybe you might feel ill.....

Andria,
You've been doing it wrong all these years!

When you inhale the whipped cream, the objective is to not get any of the cream.

Just saying!

Years??? I've only been vaping since Jan 31, '14! Geez almost a year now, whaddya know. :D

I don't care if it's wrong; it works for me. Which has a lot more to do with the WTA than the danged ol mod or atty! The Kayfun just makes sure it tastes good and gives me good TH, so it's a great substitute for coffin nails. :D

I really have no earthly idea why anyone would want to vape at 20w, nevermind 200w -- I'll save 200w for my computer's power supply! For a freaking lightbulb, 100w is so bright it nearly blinds you!

The "whipped cream" I meant is that cloud of vapor that sub-ohmers seem so attached to -- if I tried to inhale anything like that, good lord, instant asthma attack. Vapor really doesn't need to be any thicker than cigarette smoke, to be effective, and not once in 39 yrs did I ever exhale any cigarette smoke that resembled whipped cream.

Thanks for the warning, but I smoked for 35+ years and the surgeon general had all kinds of warnings on every pack I bought for years. I liked it, now I like vaping, is it safe?? Probably not, I'll risk it anyway. We're all gonna die of cancer if something else don't get us first!!

I'm hoping like hell for a massive heart attack, personally. 3 seconds of pain, outta here! Bring on the nicotine!!! :D

What actually totally negates the purchase of one of those things, for me, is the price -- $200? $300? Seriously??? I had a very hard time affording my first little eRoll at $39.95; my sigelei was also $39.95, and my iTaste vv3s were like $27 -- my Vamo was $17! When you're talking hundreds of dollars for something, you're in Provari territory, and I not only don't live there, I can't even afford to visit!

I hope by the time my heart stops, my brains goes with it as well. What I hate the most is that the doctor determines my heart stopped and pronounces me dead, yet my brain is still functioning. That will be horrible, lol.

On the contrary, part of the OP's brain has stopped functioning. Hahaha... j/k, don't take it personally. :)

My health has drastically improved since quitting combustibles and beginning vaping.
I appreciate your concern. At the same time, you list yourself as a NASA engineer. I'm a great fan of what NASA was and of space exploration. If you work for NASA as an engineer, I fear for the future of NASA. And science.
You present as an alarmist and one who accepts pop-science as gospel.
Honestly, even if all you say is true, your flawed and emotional diatribe has negated any credibility you may legitimately possess.
You rant as a mindless fanatic, not as a scientist.
Reframe and reorganize your argument, or just go away. If you do not, no one will take you seriously.
At this point, all I see of you is a frightened pawn spewing propaganda.
Peace and Health to you!

I'm actually a lot more worried, with my family history, that my heart will keep ticking along, years after my brain stops functioning -- just another reason to BRING ON THE NICOTINE! :D
