No, a T-Rex is not like an Igo ... the iGo is much more satisfying. The special cartomizers hold about 3ml of liquid and the flavor you get from them is outstanding compared to a regular cartomizer or a cartridge. They last much longer too. I can fill a carto and take a freshly charged battery and I'm good to go all day.

The flavor doesn't drop off on a iGo carto like I've experienced in other cartomizers for my 808d-1 and 510 models, at least not as quickly. On the smaller (808d-1 and 510) cartos, I lose flavor within 2 days on average. With my iGo cartomizers, flavor stays consistent for a week to 10 days. Sometimes longer, depending on what juice I use. If you vape caramelized juices, they don't do so well on the iGo cartomizer, so you are better off using a volt carto on an iGo battery for those .. they won't last more than a day or two.

It's all about flavor for me, I don't care about TH or vapor production, but both are good on the iGo as well. The most important thing to me is the flavor. I haven't been as happy with anything I own as far as flavor except the iGo and my expensive bottom feeder mod.

As for Bill ( D & B Gold) .. I've known him on the forums for a long time, since before he was a supplier and he is a very honest, straight forward, helpful guy. You can't ask for a better supplier, he cares about his customers and does everything in his power to make them happy. He really is one of the best suppliers associated with this or any forum, and he has the best prices on the iGo and it's accessories. Just ignore the dead cat on his head, we do.

"well and I asked some questions so I'm sure it will take longer for me to get my order."

why?
your order will be mailed in the morning.
My bad... I didn't expect us to have the conversation we had and get all my questions answered sooooo quickly!! I got my notice that my order was shipped this morning. That was just incredible!

Another question:
What pre-filled cartomizers fit on the igo?

Grape is the only flavor that I can't seem to find in a juice that tastes as great as the one from Bloog. I'm still searching the earth!

OMGosh... I just received my igo (thanks Bill!). This thing is HUGE but it holds soooo much juice and is soooo smooth! I can't put it into words... it's silky. My bloog cartomizers fit perfectly and taste delicious! And it's so quiet!

Today was a rough day and I used one bloog battery and carto at lunch and one bloog battery and carto on the way home. I can't wait to see how long this beast will last.

Yeah, I can can honestly say, that the hit the Igo carto's provide is hands down BETTER than ANYTHING I've tried in two years. I still use a few other devices here and there, but the Igo is my go to vape.

I have an iGo 1300mah and while I love the long battery life, I have so much trouble with cartos tasting bad on it, I have switched to using my Elite most of the time.

The iGo cartos work great sometimes, but then suddenly they taste burnt (they arent out of juice) or the draw gets so hard it's impossible to use them. Even my Elite cartos and my G5s will taste funny on my iGo sometimes.

I think I must be doing something wrong. Maybe I need to clean the cartos?

Thanks,
Cindy T

I've come to find that if you let the Igo cart get to dry, it compromises the center tube. Once that happens, there is a place for juice to drain out while it's being filled. It won't hold nearly the amount it should when this happens, and then there are wicking problems. While I praise the Igo for the hit it can deliver, it does have it's shortcomings. And also remember, not all of these cartos are made equally. I've gotten two weeks of hassle free use out of a few. The rest have been about a week and a few days(and a few that just sucked lol). Maybe try a few different juices with different thicknesses if you can to. I know it's a kinda of a pain to top off when you have such a large carto. But imo, that's the name of the game with any carto that you want to last\work well.

Good luck!

Well, last night I decided to fill a cleaned and dryed iGo carto with my fav morning vape (I've been reluctant since I hate to waist so much juice in these huge caetos and it not be satisfying), let it sit overnight and gave it whilrl with my morning coffee. I was thrilled to find great flavor, big vapor and no burnt taste, but after 5-6 vapes the thing stopped working.

I then carefully pulled the post up a touch, still nothing. Tried another cart, worked. Put this one on, nothing. Let it sit a while and it started working again. This has happened several times throughout the morning. I don't know if it's the carto or what, but if it is, once again, I've filled the thing with all that juice that's wasted.

I have one last brand new carto, but I'm not sure I want to chance that much juice again, lol.

All this trying to figure things out is making my head spin.

So I finally decided to upgrade from my 808 slim batteries and just put in an order for an Igo kit from Bill at D&B Gold. Looking forward to a longer battery life and the large cartos. I have a tendency to over-research and over-analyze things, so I was nervous in finally making a decision with the worries of "I hope I ordered the right one." With many positive postings about the Igo and the opportunity for being able to use other 808 cartos, I'm thinking my choice was right. I can't wait until it gets here and I can fog out the living room.

You will love it!! You will soon be ready to put those slim batteries to rest or loan them out to someone else to try vaping!! I don't even touch mine anymore!! I thank Bill a 100x over!! I'm starting to think he's my guardian angel :)

I've had this happen to a few iGo carts as well. There is a trick that has worked every time for me so far... take tweezers or needlenose pliers and gently turn the connector on the carto about 1/4 turn. I think it just comes loose a bit and needs to be tightened up.

Yes, the battery post gets stuck down on occasion and needs to be popped up but, the carto connector is sometimes the culprit.

ETA: Another trick I use on the cleaned iGo cartos, before you replace the cleaned and dried filler, is to drip juice inside and coat the coil and fire it up. This assures you that it's still working before you use up a lot of juice on the fill.

Thanks OMG, I'll try those tricks!

Well, I'm thinking my other problems are mostly from overfilling. I swear, I'm the overfill queen! I've also seen some improvement by pushing in the filling a touch on cartos I've been using a few days.

I'm very happy with my iGo, I just have to learn it:p

I also have an elite that I'm pretty happy with, but the iGo has a little firmer draw and better TH which seems to satisfy me better most of the time.

Well I got home from work today, and the mail man left me a present, my Igo! I quickly put an Ikenvape LR 808 mega carto on it that I was using on one of my slim batteries today. Let me say, the difference in flavor, throat hit, and vapor production on the Igo battery is nothing short of amazing. Even with the low resistance carto on the slim batt, I was having to take huge, long and struggled draws to get any substantial vapor. With the Igo battery, I require much shorter draws to get exponentially larger vapor. Flavor is also brought out. Tobacco flavored juice that I had previously given up on, and viewed as unpleasant/bland, is given new life on this battery. I now enjoy many of the juices I had put in the back-up pile for times when I ran out of more favored liquids. Throat hit is intense. I have been almost three months without an analogue, and now realizing what vaping can be, I don't know how I quit with my little starter kit. This thing is awesome. I have not tried the Igo cartos yet as I am waiting on an order of some of my favorite juices to come in so that I can truly appreciate them.

And you guys are using the cartos that came with it, right? I think I'm going to use a syringe. Any suggestions for if you want a smaller carto to sample flavors? Are there any tricks/tips to filling these things? I asked Bill what ohm the carto is, but he didn't know. I looked on another website and I think they said 2.6-2.8 or maybe it was 2.8-3.0. That sounds like the right ohms. I ordered some Boge LR 2.0 smaller cartos. I hope they work! Mine should be here today or Monday.
