So Cal
Got the iGo W in and jury's out in my case... couldn't get the ohms to read for some reason... i'll give it another shot.
I set it up 3 wrap 30g on each... should have come out .6 but it vapes like 1.1 or so...
I was hoping it would be as good as my Nimbus or the Forge-clone which i just got too... very nice (both triple posts)
I aquired one of these last week. I still like the nimbus better but to be honest. This is a excellent alternative without dropping 65 bucks. Sucks that you got to drill another holes but hey so it goes. I would like to add that I like this worlds better than the Chimbus from fasttech. Overall nicer build IMO. Got mine 4wrap 28g at .4 ohms dual with 2 5/64 airholes

Hey. I've quickly glanced through the thread, but I've yet to find a suitable answer. I have 2 IGO L's, but they each look different, not only that they each perform VERY differently (to me anyways). If you notice, the top-cap on the left is angled.

The one on the left has better flavour by far compared to the one I have on the right. I've built 20+ coils for each, and the one on the left is better every single time. I want to purchase another, but I don't want to get another one of the ones I don't prefer. Am I crazy? Is this possible? They're both drilled out to 1/16th. Here is a picture.

I got one of the Igo-l's last week. I built my first wick and coil (errrm should I say my wife helped me build my first coil.) it was a disaster. I put it back on the shelf as I had also bought a Pro Tank and my house was too full of people to have the patience to try and learn this thing. I got the whim to try again and built a nice wick and coil at 1.8 ohms. I'm using .32 kanthal and silica wick. Wow the flavor almost knocked me over in a good way. Vapor production was pretty light but it is starting to increase as I cycle E-Liquid through it. I'm not sure if I'm gonna drill out the hole or not. Overall I'm really happy with it.

That tilt my be the 510 connection on your device not exactly flush. I have that problem on my Provari. While cosmetic, it has never effected the performance.

I have 5 Igo-L's, 3 of them with air holes drilled out to 1.5mm and one with the air hole drilled out to 2mm. I have found that the air holes are not in the same spot on any of the L's. I have two caps that deck is exposed through the air hole at 1.5mm but on the 2mm the air hole is above the deck. They all vape differently but I like them all. I can not complain and would take them over anything else I have tried to date.

After looking at your pic again, I see your air holes are off as well.

I just built my Igo-l (first time with an RBA). It was very easy and the resulting vape was amazing. More vapor, better throat hit and my RY4 never tasted better. The nic hit was so strong that I got a little dizzy. I am going to like this... Thanks everyone for the recommendations and explanations on how to build.

I'm not too concerned about the tilt, my vamo is like that with everything. I was referring to the "drip" cap. If you look at the cap with the air hole, the one on the left is on a slight angle, compared to a more dome shape of the other one.

I've heard two different reasons for that. One is that the tapered/angles one is version 2 and the flatter/dome one is version 1. I've also heard that the flatter one is the oridinal is made by UD (who also make the IGO-W, IGO-F, AGT) and the tapered one is a clone made by a different Chinese company.

All my L's have the air hole in different spots. Mass produced in China for the win! Doesn't bother me much as they still vape great!

Yeah, the holes are off, but I don't think the hole is the issue. If you look at the part that detatches, and the drip tip comes out of, the "dome" on the left has a tapered top, while the dome on the right is more rounded.

I see what you mean now. I just looked at mine and they all look like the one on the left in your pic. Did you get yours from the same vendor?

Yeah, they were different vendors, and sadly I can't remember which one came from where lol. I have a shop local to me that I can have a look at when I go to purchase another one.

I have 2 of the Igo-l's and didn't get a whole lot of vapor until I drilled the holes out with a 1/16 drill bit. Now I get alot of vapor.

i hope they release these in different finishes such as a matte or brushed look.

Keep an eye out here Monkey Labs
Lance powder coats AGA-Ts and IGO-Ls among other things such as masking and media blasting designs into them. Contact him on the Steammoney supplier thread and tell him what you want.
