You know just for kicks and due to a hunch on air volume and flow, I looked through my drip tip collection for the shortest one I had with the widest opening. I popped it on and there is a noticeable difference in flavor and heat compared to the long shapely SS tip I had on it. It's a shame it is my ugliest; sky blue anodized aluminum tip.

I opened up the air hole to 1/16" and it greatly improved performance for me. I'm used to the airy draw on my AGA-T tho so might not be for everyone.

Haha thanks. I see your Schwartz is as big as mine. These are the privileges of working for a cell carrier. New toys as often as I can get them. Now if only I could get vape toys as often.

Im really interested in picking one or two of these up right now. However I have yet do any wick building but I far from intimidated by it. Anyone know where I can pick these atties up for a good price? Think I will need to pick up some silica and SS just to try both and see what I like it. Anyone recommend silica size and mesh type as well would be appreciated.

Still loving my IGO L and especially so after making the airhole larger. The stock airhole is kind of a joke (to me).

Also anyone looking into the IGO S (the mini), be careful when setting up the wick, the plastic insulators at the bottom of the posts can be burnt and melt if the wick is close (not even touching them), they're the same on the Phoenix and with how low the holes in the posts (for the coil) are you really need to take a lot of care when setting it up.

I have opted not to try the IGO S as the IGO L is more to my liking, larger, holds at least 20+ drops i've got 30 in it right now with a 1.2ohm coil.

Also I saw a post earlier back of someone using a 1.2 or 1.3 ohm coil on a mod with an 18350, BE CAREFUL that low of a coil needs a battery that can have a safe amp output and the 18350 IS NOT the best for such a low res coil.

Hope you all are enjoying yours as much as I am mine.

I'm picking up 2 more from a co-op at $8 a piece. It's unfortunately full, but you may check out if there's room on the reserve list...

I'm already in that co op haha thanks though. I am stocking up on these, i have 6 mechanical MODs right now and quite a few in the works, will have around 10-15 with most of them running IGO L's they're an amazing RBA for the price.

I'm sure I will. :)

In fact, I'm pretty excited about the variety of RBAs appearing lately. Some of the designs (like the IGO) are really innovative, and, the quality of many seems very good for the price. These things are great for people like me, who enjoy tinkering and simple modding, but don't happen to have a world of skills or a machine shop at their disposal.

As they say, it really is a great time to be a vaper.

I just got two of these this morning, and they are beyond awesome.

:)

The rebuild is so simple a puppy could do it. I watched this helpful video twice through, and voila!

IGO-SS RBA from vapingthings.com - YouTube

Me = More incompetent than a puppy.

I tried my first ever coil last night and... well, let's just say I have a lot to learn and practice apparently. Wish me luck on my second go at it.

LOL. I felt that way at first. You have my sympathy.

Have you tried wrapping the coil around a needle or nail along with the wicking material? I found that that helps a lot, as it gives you something solid against which to make nice, even wraps. It also prevents to whole thing from bunching up and getting too tight, which I had a tendency to do at first.

And then there are all those online instructional videos. There don't seem to be many for the IGO yet, but the basic techniques are the same as those used in the Vivi Nova rebuild, which might help.

Here's the PBusardo version:

A PBusardo Tutorial - Vivi Nova Cleaning & Rebuilding - YouTube

Good luck! :)
