Nice to see update pictures after half a century of waiting :p hah.

Waited long enough and bought a $50 dollar more black similar hybrid genesis mech from dragonflyecigs.com the 1080 Hybrid. Same design except for the outer tank protecting cover and a lesser black color finish but none the less came with tools, mesh, wire, case and a couple of batteries with charger so it evens out quite nicely. I will do a review as soon as it comes in but as much as i wanted a pure I found an alternative which will achieve the same quality flavor/vape for a great price.

Sorry Faceless...you waited/still waiting too long.

PS: still probably will get a pure if I can...oh wait no I wont, they'll be sold out within an hour of release as usual.

Those aren't really Pures. They're 'shooped images of Vamo v3's.

This is off topic, but is your 1080 an actual hybrid or does it have a 510 connection? Also, how does it preform. That looks like the Yiloong "hybrid" they came out with forever ago and was considered a POS.

Edit: Nevermind, I see they say it is a 510 device so it's not a true hybrid and is the same as it used to be. Not worth $150 let alone $50.

I hope to be able to get a Pure when they come out if they ever do. It has been 2 months since this thread was started and I still don't see them being sold anywhere. I wonder if Faceless is really going to be able to make 1000 a month or if he is just taking so long because he had to get more equipment and stuff to make them. Either way I hope they become READILY AVAILABLE since you can never get the LE's. This is going to be a really good step in changing the vape community.

1080 Hybrid Genesis I just recieved in place of the Pure...has some dislikes but overall works like a beast thus far. Ill do a video review after a few days of heavy use. No the 1080 Hybrid is a solid build. Threading is a bit crunchy but eh...and no it does not have 510 ego style connector. It is all one piece. Now i know they do sell a Genesis atty similar to the one in my pics which does have 510 threading. So far my only complaint is the fire button. Wish is was a bit more than what it is bit im sure other brand screw on button caps will fit.

Still want a Pure like I said just for the bit better build quality but its going to be a task in getting one.

EDIT: Watch the video review on YouTube here 1080 Genesis Hybrid (Black) - YouTube

Looks similar to a mac hybrid.

I got my iHybrid Pure Saturday-3rd, then promptly cracked/shattered the only tank I had trying to take it off, ARRRRRG!!! I'm waiting on a replacement tank from BedazzleTubes.com, should be here tomorrow or the next, I CAN'T WAIT!!!! Ive been waiting on the Pure to be launched for MONTHS now & when I FINALLY get one I break the F-ING tank 10 minutes out of the box, I'M SUCH A KLUTZ!! Its been KILLING ME staring at this beautiful hybrid & not being able to Vape it, ITS MADDENING I TELL YOU!!!! Surprisingly I was actually able to rig it together with a 22mm Standard IBTank, AGI top cap & some electrical tape (pic of the ghetto rigging below). It actually does work like this but unfortunately the air hole of the AGI top cap doesn't line up properly with the wick, its too far away & too high up the wick/coil but it dose vape, the flavor was actually quite good but the vapor just wasn't there.
So When I first held/inspected the Pure my initial thought was it seems pretty dinky & very simplistic, not in your face impressive like the LE's & even the Standard iHybrids, I mean without a battery in it this ting is as light as a feather which seems to give it a false sense of sub-par quality, I mean its aluminum, of course its going to be lite.
So I was initially worried that the Pure wasn't going to deliver that "WOW" factor that I was expecting, I mean this thing is rumored to be an industry changer so it does have some prestige to it. Well after carefully looking at it & inspecting the parts & finish & such it became obvious that its actually built RALLY well, the machining is spot one & the finish is actually quite nice, there are these fine lines in the finish that help you to grip it so it doesn't slide in your hand, especially when pressing the button. In hindsight I'm actually REALLY beginning to dig its simplistic design, I mean some of the most rewarding thins in life are the simplest things.
Now just to clarify, the fact that my Pure didn't perform well ghetto rigged with other mod parts says ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about the mod, that's not how it was designed to work so I can't judge it based on that, however I can confirm that this thing fires LIKE A BEAST!!! Every time I push the button/switch it fires without fail & this atty was HANDS DOWN the easiest coil Ive EVER wrapped. I had hot legs at the top & bottom which took all of 2 minutes to sort out, then it was glowing from the middle out & then COMPLETELY EVENLY, like NOTHING IVE EVER SEEN!!! NO JOKE GUYS, the way this thing fires just REEKS of quality, EVERY connection is being made flawlessly, this thing REALLY is built well by someone who knows what their doing. I haven't even use my Pure the way its meant to be use yet & I'm already convinced I'm going to love it. HELL I DO LOVE IT!!! At first I didn't really like the idea of the atty being integrated into the battery tube so it can't be removed & nothing else can be used on the Pure, however Ive realized that this is actually a good thing, all this really does is remove another contact point that could possibly increase voltage drop or just fail completely, I bet the voltage drop on the Pure is next to nothing. Now the simplistic design of the Pure is something that I truly appreciate, it does what its supposed to do & dose it INCREDIBLY WELL, this is what is truly important to me but it just so happens that black & silver are my favorite colors, not to mention I LOVE to polish metal so this mod is actually perfect for me. AutoSol makes some great Anodized Aluminum Polish that will remove minor scuffs/scratches without removing the anodizing & leaves a brilliant shine, I'm going to have my anodizing gleaming & my switch polished to a DEEP MIRROR SHINE!!
Well unfortunately something is wrong with my camera & the only other one I can use is my sisters iPhone 5 which I have VERY little experience with, I had her post my ghetto rigging of my Pure to my pics to Facebook but I'll need to have her show me how to upload photos so I can share more with you guys. I'll post a followup when I get my replacement tank & let you know how it goes, until then take care & HAPPY VAPING!

I'd like to jump in here cause I just got my Ihybrid Pure and Love it. I purchased it from Elevated Vaping.
1x iHybrid Pure 18490 for $105.00 each
Subtotal : $105.00 USD
State Tax : $7.88 USD
Shipping : $0.00 USD
Total : $112.88 USD
They said they usually have free shipping but they had to up the price to keep the price in line with what faceless wanted. OK, I kinda understand. I was a little surprised at the tax, but, it just might be a California thing.
They announced on their facebook page that they would be up for sale at 9pm pacific time. It was so exciting, I have never been in a f5 war. When 9pm struck, I refreshed, pressed buy, checked out and got it. I had registered with them before hand and was logged in, so my info was there. I also had my visa number copied, so, I just had to right click and paste it. But then, oh no, they want the 3 digit number from the back of the card, I quickly input the 3 numbers. Man, what a rush. Order success on 7/31, received on 8/3.

It arrived in a regular flat rate box. It was tucked into a piece of foam pipe insulation. When I first saw it I thought it looked so nice, smaller than I thought it would be. The finish is very well done and it feels like tiny lines around the tube.
The bottom switch has perfect threads. The flat end has the ihybrid symbol engraved. The indents part of the switch look nice, but, to me they feel rather sharp. After using it for a while I really try to avoid that part. Maybe a light sanding in the near future.
The cut out of the power symbol is also very sharp. The center of the power symbol is kind of like a little tab. I am afraid that any bending there would kink it easily.
The drip tip hole fits most, but not my fancy siam mods ss drip tips that I won in one of Todd's Reviews contests. The hole was too small. Also, with the anodizing in that area I am afraid It will get scratched using different drip tips.
Now, What does the deck look like? After 20 minutes of stress and strain and one of those rubbery jar openers, I was able to get the top off. Even now, after applying juice to the orings, it is a bear to remove. I wanted to take the glass off to clean it, but, after the fight with the top cap, I decided it looked clean enough to me. I won't attempt it until I have a spare in hand. I will also wear leather gloves. (I'm a safety freak).
The deck is simple. Center positve pin with phillips head screw. Two negative phillips screws with their wick holes. No extra fill hole if you run dual wick and coil. The negative phillips screws are in there pretty tight. I came close to stripping one even though I had the correct size phillips tip screwdriver. I set up 400 mesh and 34 gauge kanthal at 1.5 ohms. Took a while to pulse it in, but I am still a rookie. Filled the tank with my DIY Peachaloupe and it vapes beautiful clouds. Vapor Great, Flavor Great and Throat hit Great. It can only get better with experience.
I am still getting used to my first hybrid, bottom button mod. I am still trying to get used to the bottom button and how to hold it comfortably. I think I am catching on.
All in all, I am happy with my Pure.

Solid, I'm almost positive I saw that exact hybrid on other sites for under 50 dollars. the 780 and the 1080 model are both on chinese websites for under 50 bucks right now. & I've read and seen videos stating that it is indeed a 510 connection that is sealed inside the atomizer and battery tubes. Still, I think its a cool looking device and the atomizer on top is top notch on par with the RSST/AGA from what I'm hearing.

Edit- I just tried an aluminum/stainless polish I had on my provari. I tried the battery cap first, and it barely took the surface scratches off of that, so I figured it'd be pretty safe to have a small go at the battery tube itself. So far so good I think. I focused on polishing 1 of the scratches on the tube for about 5 minutes. The scratch is still visible when you tilt the device in the right light, but it is definitely going away as I polish. Its also shining up the tube a lot, without taking the sparkle of the anodizing off as far as I can tell. I will be experimenting with this a bit more soon. Thanks for the idea man. Maybe I'll make a thread if I am successful at getting rid of the scratches without taking off the anodizing. At this point, I dont mind if I polish off the anodizing, I'd just like the scratches gone. & since Provape is no longer replacing tubes with scratches for a fee, I figure I may as well polish it myself. More news at 11.

Pretty Sweet mod, loving it so far. Got it from elevated during their 2 second sale... faceless said he's gonna make 300 a week now, so there's more coming. Keep an eye out at your local Vape shops and also on litecig and elevated vaping. Get on their facebook page and their newsletter sign up so you can see when they open the sale for them. They will sell out of the 50-100 they get in less than 5mins so you gotta be quick.

Like Gummy Bear said, you need to keep an eye out on their facebook page (The iHybrid Group). I got mine from Mean Monkey, but they sold out in about 10 minutes or so.

Ok, I just requested to join. Hopefully they add me some! I hope I can get a pure.

Anyone with ideas on how to bore the hole without messing up the color, or with minimal damage?
