Hmm, I was initially excited for this squonker, as it was small and looked good (was coveting the Rainbow color), but now I'm not so sure. On closer look, I wasn't thrilled that it didn't have TC as I thought it would, but I was willing to overlook that. Now, after watching Tony's review, it looks like I'm back to lusting after the Therion BF again... My wallet will NOT be happy.

I gave that one a look, @Fozzy71 , but I didn't immediately fall in love with it when I first saw it. Others' experience with it *may* change that, if the Fuchai turns out to be a good option and will save me a bit of money, but I don't recall many people having much to say about Sigelei mods, so I'm apprehensive and will wait for real reviews.

Barring some really Bad Reviews on the VW/Squonk functionality of Fuchai, I'm going to probably get one. Knowing that it probably Can't do the Max Stated Wattage. And that TC probably Won't work.

Sigelei doesn't exactly have a Stellar record of Accurate Maximum Wattages or TC that works well.

yeah, that is what I am worried about most as I currently only drip in TC mode. I imagine I could get by with a wattage only squonk setup (I currently only vape tanks in VW mode) but I would prefer one that does acceptable TC and doesn't cost $100+.

I'm torn between this and the Pulse. I haven't used a mech for years though. I was so excited for this device then it was revealed no TC and the handful of reviews I've seen show the bottle door not lining up on all of them. Cosmetic yeah but it would annoy the ever loving crap out of me. Then again they could've fixed it in the actual release version so who knows at this point. Guess I'll give it a few weeks before I decide. Good luck to the early adopters ^_^

Yep, that was my impression. Just don't remember many posting great reviews of Sigelei devices over the years, so I never sought them out. I don't stray much into devices/manufacturers that aren't well reviewed, so I haven't been disappointed by many purchases yet... And, I'd like to keep it that way.

I have been/am the Same way. And have Steered Clear of Sigelei products because their were Numerous other better choices. But with Regulated Squonkers, the choices are Very Limited.

So I looked at what the many recent Bad Reviews were...

Maximum Wattage doable were Overstated: That would be a Huge Pisser if I wanted to use the Maximum Wattage to drive some Multi-Wire Dual Coil set up. But I use Single Wire Single Coils in my RDA. If the Mod can do 50 ~ 70 watts, then I should be Fine.

TC Doesn't Work: Really would like TC to work on any TC Mod. Especially a Mod to run an RDA. But I could Except it if it didn't if the Mod didn't cost an Arm and a Leg.

Overall Quality: That one is Tough. Because Quality can go Up or it can go Down with each New Release. The Regular Fuchai seems to have pretty Good Reviews when the Max Watts and TC Complaints are removed.

So where I'm at is does the Fuchai do VW OK? Check. Doesn't it have a Reasonable Size? Check. Price? Check.

Ok then for a Regulated Squonk Mod that just does VW, the Fuchai would be OK. And if they Fixed the TC, that would be Great.

Good review. This was not high on my interest list due to the looks, but the fact that it is buck only and has no firmware update capability takes it completely off my list.

I do like the bottle design, especially the silicone with the stainless steel “skeleton.” Nice idea that I hope other manufacturers adopt.

For someone like myself coming from a Mech Squonker, and wanting the Ability to at least Maintain Output Voltage, that is kinda a Let Down.
