Besides having to carry all that extra gear in case of breakdowns like you mentioned and wicks in case of thar failing. Then the tools to change them I know if I bought one they would come out with another latest and greatest and this one would be old news. Give me a tanked Fusion anyday because they never get to be old news.

Which is why we find ourselves here, in this thread. We're all a bunch of carto tank lovers, aren't we! Like most everyone else, I jumped into the shallow end of the RBA pool, just to get my feet wet. Jumped back out, then back in. All the while tho, when I wanted a good, solid, consistent, satisfying vape, you know damm well I used my carto tanks!

Cartos are tried and true. IKV's are Classics. I'm thinking of analogies, but right now the best that comes to mind is music. Yes, it changes, it evolves, there are tremendous artists and there are one hit wonders. There are passing genres (fare thee well, sweet Disco!). But then there is Classical music. It has been, is, and always will be just that: Classic. Somethings just don't go out of style.

Isaac, you are the only vendor I know of that has actually made a science of finding/creating the best in cartomizers. Who else has put so much effort into QC? Who else even specializes in it? Only you. :)

So, do I have a rda? Yes, I have 2 of them. Did I manage to wind a teensy tiny coil? Yep. Did I feel pride in my accomplishment? Yes, in fact, I REALLY did. But... what do I reach for when I want to vape? (which is pretty much every minute of the day)

Some people around our community seem to think that carto use is a step backwards... a regression. You will often hear things like, "I would hate to GO BACK to using cartos." I don't get it. I just don't get it.

Which is why we find ourselves here, in this oh so special thread.

Hugs all around~

Well that's it, I'm officially "OUT" of my 801's fusions.....No more Mega's , no more Standards...God , I'm just going to think out load here for a second..I've seen soo much talk about coils, micro, duel, quad,etc...Wicks, cotton, mesh, ekowool, silica, etc...Why hasn't someone found the same application from the internal of a great carto like the 801 fusions and applied them to genny, rebuildables? What I mean is the wicking material inside a cart, what is it exactly, and why isn't it available to us so we can use it as we try to tinker and rebuild . For the life of me I've tried rebuilding with mesh, can't get the same taste as a great 801 fusion, that's just me though. Silica, hmm, again, not for me, taste like flour covered string. I'd like to rip open a fusion and lay it across my Kayfun or in one of Doc Dave's atty's somehow as a wick. I've never gotten a crappy taste or weird flavor using a fusion carto, it must be my lack of ability on rebidding using any of the resources. Which leaves me back to my trust worthy 801 Fusions again...Are they here yet......lol

My thoughts on the RBA's run along the same line as yours, but they are very popular. From a vendor side, I completely understand your reticence and advised (possibly poorly advised) my boss to not go that route. My biggest concern was the tech support involved.

Take what you need from that opinion, and leave the rest...it's just my :2c:
Your 2c is worth a million Miss D,
You pinpointed the exact primary reason why I'm hesitant on this. The tech support involved can be atrocious. When I meet people in the outside world, I already have to explain how we cater advanced users as my reo, provari, or billetbox or whatever device I'm waving around at the time in mid conversation as the persons eyes are bulging. Just imagining someone say, "I want to get into rebuildables, can you help me" is going to take a ton of work. Maybe I should hire someone who has time to take care of these guys that wouldn't just send them to numerous youtube videos

How do you get someone to commit? "Well for only x amount of dollars you can buy the wick (here are your options) and coils (here are your options), you also need a tool bag such as a blow torch if you want x, it needs to be quenched and burned a few times, just keep going, you will get it right., or if you don't want to go that route just a ball of cotton. Also pliers, and definitely an electronic screwdriver and don't forget the multimeter. You also need a high end manufactured device and a mechanical mod, but be careful with unprotected (precautions inserted here) learn as much as you can on youtube for the next few days because There are many styles and configurations so don't get lost and then you may save a few bucks, but make sure to have a carto and tank combination and a bottle of liquid in your pocket to be on the safe side so you don't get stranded. Although, you can pick up this carto that just needs liquid for under 2 bucks. :what:

Exactly! When something is so simplified and just works out of the gate. I would be struck if I just got to the movies or prepared for a road trip for something to short. or "hang on guys, I need to re-wick this, just give me a few"
I tried a top end Genny,a ZAP. It's up for sale now. Too much fiddle factor to get too little taste. Give me a tanked 801 fusion anyday.
You and me both Frannie! I have 7 RBA's here in different styles that all sit dormant. I can wire like mad and get the wick nice and crisp and it is fun, but nothing I would whole heartily trust on the road. I should follow you and sell these things off, but something keeps me holding on. It's an unexplainable reason.

The filling is available everywhere brother, but I believe it has to do with the overall environment, where a carto is small condensed and keep the batting contained and RBA is more an open setup that gives too much oxygen for burning. People are starting to use organic cotton to simulate a poly batting experience, but I can't confirm that it does, though the feedback seems pretty good. I know I have a few 801 Mega variations that is too low to put up on the site, just shoot me an email and I'll fill you in.

All of your Fusion 510 and 801 Cartomizers are out of stock.

When will your company be getting some more in stock. I am VERY interested in purchasing these highly rated cartos.
Haha Sgen is right! Hit up the email notification on the product listing(s) of your choice and once we get them in, you will receive a message immediately. We're looking at a full stock this week :)

Going to go into withdrawals with no pkgs from my favorite vendor!!

I wouldn't want to live in a world that didn't include an 801 fusion in a carto tank on top of my Provari. Just sayin'.
I can so hear the worlds most interesting man saying that! Priceless LOL

It's nice to mix em up. In a day I vape a tanked Fusion for a bit then an Evod. I also use my Pro tank for awhile and my Dbox.
We follow almost the same rhythm my friend, I have been switching from the 2 (out of Fusion) all week!
