When I say fully saturated, I mean being able to see juice at the very top of the filler material. When I'm busy at work and don't have time to manually saturate it, they still vape great! But nothing like when it's full to the top. :)

Oh well I use tanks so I don't need to do that anymore. Sorry, I misunderstood you. That happens a lot with me. You're right though. Before I used tanks that's how I did it too.

I use them in tanks too. Maybe I just take soft drags or something, I dunno. No carto I have ever used in any tank stays fully saturated without a little help. ;) Now that I think about it, I'm almost certain I take soft drags. Long drags too, my drags are anywhere between 10-15 seconds.

My point was what happens when the juice gets lower than the top of the slot and you're sucking air? We will see and it's not a big deal because he's been testing for things like that. I was just thinking out loud.:) Imagine, if you will, me thinking.

I was kind of curious about this my self as well. Also, is it only 1 slot or are there 2 slots one on each side?

As long as I have juice in my tank I don't get a diminishing vape. When I puff juice replenishes and re-saturates the carto.

I am familiar with the cartos with vertical slots (not IKV's... yet, but soon!). The ones I've used have only one slot. As far as that slot being too far up on the carto, that was my initial thought as well. But the slightest tipping of the tank is enuf to get the vliquid into the slot... a dry pull, and boom, you're back in vaporland! :D
