IKV OPEN For BUSINESS!! AGAIN!!!

Love the RY4 for Ikenvape, its my favorite, but...

Put in an order last week on 6/26, on 6/27 I emailed sales@ (even tried Twitter) requesting that the order ship to the billing address if it wasn't going to be delivered by 6/29 (didn't get any replies, and I couldn't cancel the order). Was hoping to have my order in my greedy little hands before I left on vacation, today I get an email notification that the order shipped... to my office. Express shipping shouldn't be an option if it takes a week to ship something that's in stock... more to the point, the website should have something up which gives an estimate of current shipping times.

Here's hoping it gets to my office before I leave, and that I can sneak in and out without having a bunch of IT requests snipe me... 8/

(and now I feel like a putz cos I just saw the email with a refund of the shipping costs... my bad... lol)

I feel your frustration but this isn't normal Ikenvape business practices. He's usually one of the fastest vendors on the market. You can blame the lowlife scumbags that burnt him for thousands of dollars for all this.
I can tell you this though. Isaac thinks more of his customers than the business and not being able to bring them the stellar service they're used to bothers him deeply. He is a very nice guy and cares greatly for his customers. Because of all this it now costs him more to do business and beings he is a one man operation trying to set up this new page, new cc service, new office and home, plus keeping stock coming in, put away, orders fullfilled and packaged, etc. stc. etc. and also being a father and husband it has upset the apple cart. That's one of the reasons for this second closure, to address some of the issues that people were concerned about.
The business will be back to smooth operation, emails will be answered and so on very soon. I will say again though that he hasn't forgot no one and is saddened by all this. He has brought us all a lot so please be patient.
Oh and I hope you get your order on time so all goes well for you. Have a good vacation.

It is not limited to small time vendors, some big boys have been dinged as well. The sad part in Isaac's case is that the bank (CC account) has him by the short and curlies and are now the object of extortion as well, because they can tsk tsk. They have demanded that age verification software be installed on his cart before he can operate, which he is in the process of doing. Of course the set up fee is quite substantial (not that he can't afford it) but the monthly cost and per transaction fees is utterly ridiculous, all because the .......s can :(

Isaac is not the only one who has had difficulty finding and keeping commercial accounts, there are several reports in the vendors forum where folks have been bounced by their processors for no apparent reasons with the exception that their accounts is for the sale of e cigs. FWIW Phillip Morris is also MC and Visa.

Anyone know how to contact Isaac? I have been trying for a LONG time to get a hold of him about 2 suspect I06s and never heard back. I have sent emails and PMs and no response. It's been awhile. Too long. I will most likely chalk this up as a loss and move on. Too bad, I keep biting my "tongue" not to post in the negative review section.

Soon things will be back to normal. It's either answer emails and take orders intermittently or just fix it all now and then have everything back to normal 100 % of the time. I know you want answers to your questions and that is right but with all that's taken place lately we're all just going to have to be patient. I do know when he's back in 100% working order he will take care of everyone.

True, But at a minimum he needs to come here to re-assure folks. You and I understand but this situation has been going on for over a year Johnny, give or take a few months. Yes it is costing him money but at the same time, he is loosing bundles in the process. Get it right, get er done and get er open. The fact remains is we are running the same software, all he had to do was get a hold of me. I do not know all the answers to Volusion, but I could have been able to assist him with some of his woes. I am a Skype away :(

ETA: One thing he has come to realize, as discussed in FL, he can no longer operate as a one man show. I am not picking on him here, but like the rest of us we need to communicate :banana:

Thank you my good sir! But I would be remiss if I didn't state a lot of circumstances are beyond his control. At the same time, some are! That is what bothers me?

Isaac is a good man who believes in doing what is right no matter what. At the same time he may be shooting himself in the foot. That is the sad fact! I won't apologize for that.

All I can say is Walk a mile in his shoes. Arm chair quarterbacking is easy. But like I said I feel the pain on both sides.
He did open for a minute and everyone was concerned about this issue and that so he closed to fix those issues plus some we aren't privy to. I do know that it bothers him as much or more than it does us. On the other hand customer service is the most important commodity to any business. I agree with Switcher that he's grown out of the one man operation.
I just hope and pray for this to be over soon for all concerned.

That's a good point but he does put Twitter updates and info other places. I really haven't got an answer but I'm sure we're getting close to having this ordeal over.

Switched and 5Card maybe at this point a simpler solution would be to pick a handful of online suppliers with stable platforms and sell through them. All products not just atty's. Then it could be a one man show distributing to a few key Vendors that have the ability to deal with the order quantity, maintenance and up keep. His overhead would be less and while consumers would most likely pay a few percent higher at least there would be a steady supply with no downtime. I have been a loyal Customer for well over a year and the checking if the site is up or down is getting a bit tiresome.

Oh well hopefully this is the final piece of the puzzle and once the age verification thing is up and running maybe just maybe we could have some smooth sailing for a few months. Here is keeping my fingers crossed and hoping for the best for Ikenvape

I am not about sending anyone under a bus. OTOH a public face removes all questions and innuendos! Regardless of what is happening in the background, one must address their public/customers, wrt thier questions / concerns. I would not normally post this in another vendor's sub, but at the same time I feel your frustrations?
