Well while we wait it looks like we may have enough people for a Screw Face Book club!!! I am another who could care less that someone I did not like 30 years ago woke up today took a dump, had a cup of coffee and went to work and feels a need to tell the world or worse post a picture. I do not have a FB account!!! Come on Iken site I have money burning a hole in my pocket and all this weeks packages are already here so I need something in transit!!!!

right now, going through the actual process with Dns etc. we should be good in a couple more :)
Well, the preview site is now down (http://ikenvape.mybigcommerce.com), prolly means the DNS propagation is happening now. Can take anywhere from a few hours to a few days depending on the servers. Hoping hours, not days. Also looks like it'll be back to http://www.Ikenvape.com. Just guessing (hoping), of course.

cant' wait! just kept me thingking, would Isaac be able to handle our orders once the site is up? hahahaha!

Not without pulling his hair out

It is not fulfilling the orders that is going to bog him down it is the inundation of e-mails and PMs he'll receive by pesky impatient customers... Has my order shipped yet etc...

If folks truly want to expedite the process, since you have had all this loooooong time to think of what you need, don't ask to have your order changed after you screwed up, go back to the end of the line :) Know what you want, place your order and move on :) This will ensure we can all make the re-opening a smooth transition for both Isaac and ourselves.

Remember there is no I in team. A smooth transition will require forethought from all his faithful customers. ... and yes a little goes a long way :D

LMAO!!!
Wow did this thread remind me of the worst part of being a server/network admin/engineer....

"Is it fixed yet?"
"Is yours working?"
"Well no but..."
"There's your answer."

"When's it going to be fixed?"
"When people stop interrupting me to ask if it's fixed when they already know that it isn't and I can actually WORK on it."

"Why don't you send us more updates?"
"Do you want me to fix it or send emails telling you what you already know...that it's not up yet. I'll send an update when it is working."

:?: of course... Twitter

(I'm also assuming he meant a couple more hours not days...)

I was banking on you being right. :( Well maybe tomorrow. :)

NO ONE has control of DNS propagation. I've seen it fly through in 20 minutes, and I've seen it take 3-4 days to finish. Some people may see it before others do...depends on when your DNS server gets updated. (or actually more importantly...when the payment processor's is)

And just an FYI for those that keep looking to "Checkout" using the temporary/working URL...that's not going to happen. "Checkout" will only be there and working when you are on HTTPS://WWW.IKENVAPE.COM That's where the payment processor is tied to. If it worked from anyplace else, it would be possible for people to hijack the payment system.
