Do you try and clean your io6's or just run em till they die?
I killed my io6 today trying to de-bridge it. Man that bridge is in there tight. Shoulda left it alone. I have been using it to test juices but need to get a couple more to try on the Reos. These next ones I get, I'll leave alone. :)

The only io6's I've lost were 1 beta when I ripped it apart for the sake of showing how much wick was in it (it's somewhere in the beta thread), one I accidently dropped and stepped on, one that blew early because I put far too much current in it (thought it was a 3.5ohm but it was 1.8 ... @ 6v it didn't last) and then my most recent one which lasted many months... lol

Isaac is ok. When I talked to him earlier he said that he thinks the store will reopen in ~2 days. He is still working things out and it's not a guarantee, but it's a hopeful assumption at this point.

I've done my part to ensure a speedy re-opening by spending my vaping budget elsewhere (GF needed some stuff.) Please tell me I'm not the only one who only has the money when the stuff I want is unavailable. I could really use some more i06s and really want to try those new Siam DTs.

Good luck Isaac and all who want to support him.

Well, I placed a very large order for juice... and bought far too much hardware this week. So it's assured he will reopen soon lol.

I only cleaned my latest one twice. The first time it was getting stiff after two months, second time was right before it died.

I have finally tried the i06 @ 2.5 ohms and I must say I am very pleased. I have been using the standard resistance Fusion's for awhile and thought nothing would pull me away but these things are great! I was able to get a couple of the Siam drip tips from Switcher and I think those will help a lot. My only question is this, I am using an Infinity Pro that runs from 3.3 to 5.5 volts and I cant seem to get it past half way on the dial without getting a burnt taste. I also seem to need to add a couple of drops every 3 or 4 pulls, is that normal? Thanks for the assist folks this seemed like a good thread to post in as severl folks here are i06 experts :vapor:

sounds like it doesn't need a lot of voltage... if you are getting good vapor and flavor there's no need to go up. That's how i gauge the voltage needed for any atty; stop going up when it starts tasting harsh or burnt - provided you have enough juice.

Give that puppy a whirl at 4.2 - 4.5V and let us know how you make out. Remember each atty and liquid is different. That should put you right on the sweet spot :D

I remember doing the original Beta on the i06,,, my first Beta i06 lasted about 140 days or so and that was running it 24/7/365 and pushing it hard too, they just dont die. Switchers Video is a classic on these too :)

Switcher I wanted to watch your video again for old time sake but it still doesnt work :(
