I'm not diggin' the 2.5ohm I06 I got from ecig charleston. Kinda confusing; less flavor. I just cracked open one from Iken and the taste is back in spades (ahhhh). I've got two more new ones from ecig charleston and will have to try them later. I just don't see how they could be that much different. Out of the 15 or so I06's I've gotten from Iken, none of them have ever been anything but stellar performers. Hope that one is just a fluke. Ive cleaned all of the old ones but haven't used em yet. The only ones that ever failed completely are from 1. dropping the pv 2. using the sleeve and pulled it apart (Total of two only and by my hand). Any ideas why this one tastes bad? It metered out at 2.5 ohms but seems hotter?

Hey sam

We all get 'em from the man, so there might be a tad bit of subjectivity there. To answer your question I don't know. There is only one way to get an IKV product as a vendor and that is to place a wholesale order with Isaac.

I really feel for the i06 crowd. I haven't even had the chance to experience Isaac's products yet and I'm having anxiety over when things will be up and running. Really need to order some cartos but want to wait for things to work out here, I don't want my wife flipping out cause of all the cartos I'm ordering, not that you can to many of them.

I picked up a 1mm bit and believe it or not that .15mm makes a difference, I like the 1mm better, I think it may be the slightly stiffer draw (say compared to a Cisco 306) that Iken was gunning for. I checked out some drill bit size charts and I think a 1/32 bit may be a good size to start with (it's only .79mm but you can always go bigger if you have to, but that may work for you). There doesn't seem to be a fractional equivalent of 1mm in Imperial ("American size":D...I love my US brothers, you guys kill me:D) but it converts to .0394"...you may not find a 1mm bit in Home Depot or Lowe's but any industrial supply shop will have them. I've bored out all 4 of my now and they all just rock (now I get the whole io6 hype...they are that good)....the "important" thing is do not use a drill, just twist the bit in your fingers, seems all you are doing is honing out the excess plating (the holes are drilled then the connector is plated)...I think the issue that some of us are having is we got some units that were subject to an "ambitious" plating process...IMO

I finally broke down and ordered a couple of i06 2.5 SR from another vendor ... they say they are:
"iKENVAPE-i06-2.5 iKENVAPE i06 2.5oHm Atomizer Standard" I hope that doesn't mean they are not IKEN... notice the small 'i'... argh! I am getting paranoid! lol
If you bought 'em from Ecig Charleston, Myself, or Mapleleaf Vapes, ......... you are fine

I am probably one in a million who has never gotten near a drill or drill bit... i gazed with glazed eyes over displays at Ace and Home Depot yesterday and only saw 1/16 as the smallest, and that would be about twice as big as 1/32. I guess it would work no?
