Hi Guys,

I recieved my carts in the mail today a new boxed up 510 delux kit. I cant screw in the battery, it seems to pop up and doesnt screw in? Is it meant to just sit there and when the lid closes it charges? Also All the cartridges have wet stuff in them, am I meant to smoke them first and then fill them up with the liquid? Sorry very noob just graduated from the e-cigs with carts prefilled like blu cig

Right you are. If you have a Personal Charging Case, or PCC, then the battery is placed in it and the lid is closed. The lid pushes the battery against the contacts and charging starts. Most have a light that indicates when it is charging and another that indicates when it is charged. Some also have a light that indicates the PCC needs a charge itself. Some have nicer displays than just some lights.

A kit or starting kit usually includes some pre-filled cartridges. The wet stuff is filler that has e-liquid in it.

I am sure you have more questions, but if you would like to get a head start I would recommend the following posts in the ECF Library.

What Hoosier said!

Also, I suspect that you will become dissatisfied with those prefilled cartridges ... or any cartridges, even those you fill with e-liquid yourself. They do not effectively deliver e-liquid to the atomizer. Much better are cartomizers (i.e., integrated cartridge and atomizer). Most of them are not prefilled, but that is fairly easy to do. There are many different types and brands of 510-compatible cartomizers, available from most suppliers. [Just stay away from those marked "LR." These low-resistance cartomizers should only be used on larger batteries.]

And thanks for that link, my friend! FYI: There is an updated, enhanced version of the WWV on Vaping Guides. That version now also is out of date, but it is less dusty than the original.
