I'm amazed...join CASAA

Now that new people are joining CASAA, that's great. But it doesn't mean anyone can sit back & relax, imo. You need to keep on top of the Calls To Action and respond when needed. (CASAA needs to "push" this info better imo, but that's irrelevant here).

CASAA has recently gained some excellent scientific people and research, and the Press Releases are excellent and well written which helps media pickup enormously.

BUT.. I think that the PR resources of ANTZ groups is self-evident with the recent barrage of media attention. I think we ALL need to be talking, texting, Tweeting, commenting, Facebook "Like"ing as much as we can, as fast as we can, to get Public Awareness.

... NOW.

I totally agree. I don't think anyone should condone sitting back and relaxing. I'm hoping that by having more members, CASAA will get a better response rate to those calls of action...and maybe more members will sit in on CASAA's conference calls.

I agree, but I didn't want non-members to be scared off by feeling that they will have to make a part-time job out of tweeting, "liking," writing emails, etc. That wasn't really my intent.

Just having the numbers is a start and gives us more 'clout' when those of us who choose to tweet, do tweet. Kind of turns our tweets into an all-out CHIRP, if that makes sense.
