I'm blown away when I see no-name vendors like this charging $1/ml in this ultra-competitive market....

I know what you mean, I'm not dropping that kind of cash on an unknown juice. I buy my juices exclusively online and I'll pay around $15 to $20 (with a coupon) for a 30 ml bottle of "premium" juice, but only if it has extensive positive reviews and is a flavor I'm pretty positive that I'll like. I save a lot of money by looking for coupons and sales and stock up when I run across deals on the good stuff.

There are new companies like this popping up every week, same with the mechanical mods, each with no proven track record, no prestige, but they have seen others do it so they jump on the 'premium' bandwagon.

In all fairness though, I would do the same, if my juice tastes as good (or better than) as others that charge premium prices, then why not?
They all are made in the same way with the same (or very very similar) ingredients, so there is not that differentiates one premium brand from another other than whether the flavour appeals to your tastes or whether you like the branding.

Now what I'm going to state is not a known fact, but speculation on my part having worked in the food and retail industry for a long time.

I believe most juice vendors are making at least a 100% profit margin, which means they're marking up the product by 200% or better. Usually the most expensive component of the product is the packaging. Since they're purchasing their PG and VG in probably drum (55 gallon) quantities the cost is very low.

For those that produce the NET-based flavors the costs do run higher.

I just ordered from ITC Vapes just to see if all the rave reviews are valid. 30ml for $7.99 (26 cents/ml). I'm usually a Madvapes Top Vapor fan and I like their juices for the price. 50ml for $11.99 (24 cents/ml)

There are deals out there for good juice. I've paid high prices here and there and ended up tossing many of those juices. Check out the quality on ECF threads before presenting your credit card.

I get the impression that a lot of vendors use this equipment to create their "clean rooms"...
