As many know I'm back up to a pack a day, but they don't know I'm also vapping about 4Ml a day of 36Mg e-liquid.

I'm half a day in without smoking, and it's driving me nuts. My LR Just isn't cutting the mustard!

I'm not the only one I think... At work, a group of us so call non smokers. Most of us went a year or two without smoking> I went a year and a half myself.

Then Marlboro released Sky, and Smooth Cigs. I can say EVERYONE fell off the bandwagon when this happened. All it took was 1 Cig, and I was hooked again like the others.

For me it started at 1 in the morning, 1 at lunch, 1 after work, but then it fell into me taking smoke breaks....to me smoking up a chain.

I smoked a pack the other night before dawn, and I had to say I need to stop.

I love to smoke damn it....I love it, but I don't want to die from it. I also don't want to vape my whole life.....Yet for me it's one or the other it seems.

To think at the end of the summer I was down to 12Mg, and vapping 1/2 a ml a day......WTF happened? Maybe a little stress of the bills stacking up while I was looking for a job, and couldn't find one, but still. It's like a total rebound.

I'm afaid I'm going to be one mean SOB for a week or two again.

Maybe I should kick my Nicotine back up to 48Mg or 54Mg.....I'm really debating it.

I truly hope that's a joke.......
If 36mg isn't "doing it" for you, I'd see a Dr or somebody. That high of nicotine concentration has to be risky

????? I vaped at 48mg for quite some time..have vaped for almost a year and now vape 36mg mostly.

Good luck D....just dont give up. If ya need anything let me know, if I can help I will !!

If you were smoking that much on a daily basis then I suggest that you continue to smoke and slowly increase the amount of time that you vape. This will help you cut down on the number of analogs you smoke during the day until you are able to eliminate them completely. 36mg of nicotine is already very high and high doses of nicotine can cause heart palpitations. You don't want to cause more health problems and you don't want to create more stress on yourself. Don't knock yourself if you can't seem to put down the analogs completely. Lots of forum members have had to gradually cut down on the number of analogs over time while vaping.

IMHO...you should see a doctor & possibly a therapist...your level of anxiety should probably be treated with an anti-depressant. I'm not saying it will stop your cravings, but your nicotine intake is really high as it is. Maybe even just some sleeping medication to allow you better rest would help.

It's clear that you're getting something from burning tobacco that the e-cig does not provide. It may be the different alkaloids, in which case I understand that good Swedish snus helps tremendously. I doesn't sound like it's just the nicotine itself. Don't feel like you're alone, however. I have been vaping for 20 months. I immediately went from a PAD of American Spirits to two a day. And I still smoke those two a day. No more, no less.

I'm supposed to be on a high dose of xanix, but I can't afford to go.and so..I haven't taken them in years.

Maybe I use nicotine for it perhaps.

My ex is kinda high strung too.
She will chain-smoke a couple of packs a day.
She's supposed to take her meds too, but doesn't.
Self medicating for something serious isn't a good idea.

I think a lot of us completely understand what your saying , I have a great set up for vaping and it has kept me smoke free for a year and half but sometimes vaping doesn't cut it and I REALLY need a smoke ! I know a lot of people on the forum say ( go ahead and have one ) but for me I know 1 would turn to 2 and 2 to 3 and I'd be smoking 2 packs a day in no time because I love to smoke . If I was you I would try out a new e cig and get some good strong juice and just start over , you have done it before so just do it again !!! Good luck I hope you find a job and then can relax a little .

Try Snus. You will have to get it shipped over from Sweden but this stuff is great.

Snus - Thunder Berry Extra Strong portion

This one delivers a TON of nicotine. Too much for me. Even after having many cigarettes, when I poped one of these in, I'd start to feel dizzy from the high levels. Even though it says 16mg, you absorb a lot more nicotine than with smoking/vaping. Its kind of expensive now in the US, but give it a shot.

No it's not a joke....

I used to smoke 2-3 packs a day of full 100s....

I also used to vape 48-54 no issues. I'm not the only one on the this board that can do it either.

Are you using a high voltage device? I couldn't completely quit until I was vaping 3.7 with LR atties. It got much better for me after I got 5 and 6 volt devices, I was able to drop my nic content at that point. I'm still looking for my perfect vape, however.

Yeah, if I had one, I'd be buying a pack before I knew it. Luckily I'm coming up on two years smoke free. I haven't had a single one since the day I bought my first PV. Now I'm seriously thinking about switching to zero nic liquid.
