The battery issue is odd. Definitely not been an issue with anyone else yet, but that it's all 3 batteries is just strange.

Did you charge all of the batteries for the full 8 hours?

However, I definitely experienced the atomizer thing. To me, it tasted more like rubber. I solved the problem though and it was pretty simple. I got a shot glass and filled it up with Vodka, and left both atomizers in it over night. In the morning I took the attys out and blew all the vodka out into a paper towel. It worked wonders.

That primer fluid is godawful.

Eric:

Thank you for your reply.

I will definitely try leaving them overnight in some vodka and see how that works.

As far as the batteries go I am recharging all of them now just to remove all doubt.

However,as it stands after an 8 hour charge and about 30 minutes into vaping I get that disco blinking and the battery is down for the count.

This isn't a huge deal right now because I really can't vape through the soapy/plastic/metallic taste.

Anyway, can you recommend something from your store that has a softer break in period and good flavor/vapor production (I was looking into some penstyles maybe)?

I would like to keep on vaping while these 510 issues are being worked out.

Thanks

I followed the instructions on the charging, went 8 hours, used them a half hour then charge another 8 hours. They work great.

I wash attys as last resort. I take the new atty, put on a manual batt, turn it on until it just starts to glow. Then let it cool completely & do that 1 or 2 more times. Put a couple of drops on the atty, put on a full cart & vape away. BTW, the attys look really cool on a black batt.

I have some slight short-use issues with my auto battery, but my 2 manuals work flawlessly. The auto will usually only last me about 40 minutes(I'll actually try to time it more accurately tomorrow). The auto I don't really like, or use, so much anyways. I figure you have alot more important stuff to worry about at the moment, and I am MORE than happy with the products I recieved from you. I hope all this stuff gets sorted out for you soon. I have a feeling a few of my friends are going to want to order a few of these soon, and I'd like them to buy from you.

Edit:: I'm only vaping about 1.5ml a day as a reference.

Definitely interested in seeing one in action. Either via video, or even photo. Id be happy to do so, but Im waiting for stock of single batts/attys, so I can order.

So, Who's it gonna be? :p

EDIT: Okay, I had found some image links previously, but they refused to load. Now they work :D

I just wanted to do a quick re-post to say that Eric sent me a brand new Versus.

Everything is working great and it's vaping like a champ!

The only thing I did was give the attys a drink (vodka & coke) for about a day, washed them out with some hot water and let them dry.

After that I was good to go, no battery issues or crazy soapy/metallic taste.

Thanks Eric for taking care of this as I am very happy with my new Versus!

Yes Sirrrr:

It works like a charm.

Just make your attys a drink lol...

Let them sit overnight in vodka and coke then take them out and drop them in some hot water for about 15 minutes.

Blowout both ends gently and allow them to dry thread side up (at least 4 hours).

Re-prime the attys with e-liquid (3 to 4 drops) and you're good to go!

This also works when there is an e-liquid flavor that you just can't seem to get out of your atty.

I just received mine today and it is very nice. The copper is great looking and the blacklight is nice as well. Very nice overall, Eric. The issue I've had is with the auto battery. This is the first auto I have tried. I have 4 different 510's with the manual battery. I don't know if I am doing something wrong, and I understand the cutoff, but it only seems to run for about 2 seconds before it shuts down. I just can't get a good hit off of it. Even with a 1 or 2 primer hits it's just not cutting it. Is it this way with all auto batteries? If it is I'm glad I didn't start with auto or I never would have quit smoking cigarettes! This by no means detrimental to my overall impression of the kit, since it comes with three batteries. I am probably doing it wrong, being used to the manual batteries.
