I know I am double posting, but I though it is relevant to the issues that people who ordered Indulgence are having.

My first experience with HV 801 from EM:

Do not like it at 6v =( It has a resistance of 5Ohm, which would equate to
1.2 amp current. I find it weak, not giving much. Just a touch better than sucking on 1x3.7 battery with standard EM 801 (which I believe is 3.2Ohm)

For those of you having the same problem, try putting in 2x3.7 volt cr123a batteries and you'll see the difference on how it SHOULD vape =)

So...(calculating) To my liking it must have a current of around 1.4 amps (I know, 1.48, but it gets pretty hot to touch), making it 4.2-4.4 Ohm the sweet spot.

I love EM, David and Di, but c'mon guys! You must have tried it before you started selling them! Everyone talks about the "sweet" spot at 5v, but with 5 ohm attys it makes it 4.44V when using standard 3.7ohm attys - which is weak....

This is just my point of view. I will buy those HV attys for sure, but use it with 2x3.7 batteries.

I found an easier way, i got some "low voltage" aty from heavengift, mesured at 2.3 and 2.5 ohm, so i keep vaping at 3.7v (in fact 18650 is above 3.7v for a long time).
No burn taste, great smoke and hit.

Eastmall should think about making low Ohm aty for 3.7v, anything above 3 ohm has no taste for me.

thanks for your post, all normal atomizers are around 2.3 ohm , and if you test our 801 atomizer, you will love it ;)

our High voltage atomzier is around 4.5 ohm , and I tested with 6V, so far, I love it.

Are you sure ?

I bought 9 HV aty from you, and all of them are exactly 5.3 ohms (it's perfect for 6v)

And all normal aty i have got from different suppliers, are around 3.2 - 3.5 ohms (except thoses 2.3 and 2.5 mentionned above)

Btw any news about storage case and passtrough ?

sorry to jump in, but in that case your first joye510 atomizers were from HG.

[edit@Sergej, if you measure the ohms of your atomizers, you have to measure 1st what ohms your meter + cable has. and you have always to substract this value from every measured value.
otherwise everyone gets very very different results.

Just tested on a marked resistor (2.2ohm). Gives out resistance of 2.5-2.6. So, about 0.3-0.4 ohm adjustment.
Re-calculating....
My preference (all 801):
5v @ 3.4ohm real (1.48amp)
6v @ 4.05 ohm real
7.4v @ 5ohm real (or just a bit below)

So, 0.2 of an amp makes a lot of difference...

David, I love EM HV atomizers, just don't understand where the vape goes when I try it at 6v =(
I really have to suck on it, taking BIG and LONG hits to get something... Maybe you are using Di's DIY liquid with extra flavor added plus VG for bigger vape clouds... I am using stock RY4 + Menthol and finding it not so pleasant...

Hi thanks for your post, I tested our HV atomizer 901 with the 6V cup, and normal liquid , Marlboro flavor, I did not use the DIY liquid. when I push the button, I hear the noice and great vapor come, I never sucked, possible, you need to charge the battery ? I am not sure. but I am using the Indulgence to test , and when people buy the 6V cup for Indulgence, they will know how to explain this.

Cheers
David

Thanks i run some test too with marked resistors : reading are 0.4 above rating, so here's my re-calculating :

HV eastmall aty : ~5 ohm (7.2 watts at 6v)
regular various aty : ~3 ohm (4.5 watts at 3.7v)
My special and beloved aty : ~2 ohm :) (6.8 watts at 3.7v)

Do we have an ETA on availabitly for all models yet? I am sure it has been asked over and over again, but have not seen an answer. May be put a sticky thread at the top again so people can look at one thread instead of sifting through multiple for the ETA? I am personally waiting to place an order (as I am sure others are) but want to do so when purchasing the Indulgence.
