I over wicked my mt the other day and I think it is causing the juice to turn a shade darker....just started vacation so it's time for a new build/wick
Wooooo! In the midst of vacation myself! Great stuffs. This will be build week for sure.

Currently running 2 X 7 wrap, 24 awg on 3 mm id = .392 ohms @ 60 watts...

OMG!!!

This RTA is a home run!
Awesome! I never get tired of the reactions.
The MT is such a gift. I feel bad for people who pass it by. In love!

Besides being 42 pages long, it's amazing just how much I am using this tank as opposed to my beloved mechanicals! I'm running dual 26g 5wrap, 2.5mm for .26 ohms and it's rockin'! And my clapton is going to finally get here today! I'm ready to try 3mm clapton and wick this thing right.

Tonight was a good night, staying up late actually ended up being worth it for once. I ended up nailing a pink starburst, vanilla Graham cracker caramel and a peach strawberry mango juice.

Glad I needed to re wick the MX rta, I had the troll out and decided to try some juice and hit it good tonight

Bman, my buddy does a strawberry banana mango smoothie that is delicious....I also convinced him to add papaya to the recipe for me

QUOTE="freedogg, post: 17094788, member: "]When screwing the juice fill top cap back on to the atty, a bit of pressure may be formed in the atty. When opening the jfc (juice flow control) with the atty in the upright position, that pressure will push juice. With the atty upside down the air left in the tank (bubble) will be next to the jfc opening and when the jfc is opened the pressure in the tank just pushes air through the jfc opening.

This "trick" is commonly used with the Mutation Tank people, me included, and works quite well. It's all about the small ammount of pressure. That's why the leak stopped shortly after opening....the pressure was gone.

Make any sense???[/QUOTE]

This does work, I was doing it, but now after I wick and put on the chimney and lower o ring, I rejuice the wick ends a little after poking at them with some wire, making sure there are no gaps... I used to get some leakage, but no more.
I can fill the tank, screw the cap back on and resume vaping. This is with 70/30 juice, and no more wicking than I used before... When you screw the tank back together, don't let the glass spin, if there's a little wick sticking out it will move the whole wick over a little and cause some leaks when refilling. I run 2.5 mm id claptons, not wicked too tight, and have good results...

I wick it like a video that's posted on here.... Somewhere...
It usually leaves a bit hanging out, I cut it as flush as I can than

Yes, please :)
Have you tried jimmy the juice man caramel pear? I think it may be up your alley from what I gather from your diy post. The pear isn't too heavy. My favorite adv is a caramel apple from a local b&m and it's to die for. Pretty flavor intense and stays with your palette long after your last vape

b.m., my understanding is it is almost NONE. It is so little that it should not be considered. It would be way less than 3mg from what I have researched. Then consider that you are only putting 5%-10% into a 30ml mix of vg/pg...it is virtually no nic. I only use NET and have never seen my nic level increase with the 10% tobacco stock I add to my 30ml bottle. I use 8mg nic for my vg/pg base and it stays at that level. Maybe I am measuring/testing wrong, but from what I can tell there is no increase in nic level.
Yeah, that's why i said, they reported that it was a really low amount,it may have been .3 i can't remember, but i do remember they had done the cold extract, not a heated one,so that may have made a bit of difference, but even at 3mg,like you said, once you dilute it as a flavor, any low amount like that would be pretty much gone anyway.

Rewicked the mt, vaped a full tank through it, no color change of juice+no leaking=successful wicking job. Chain vaped successfully until maybe the 5th or 6th smack when i took a 6+ second smack and got a slight dry hit. Lesson learned otherwise very happy camper over here :thumb::vapor::vapor:

Right on! I thinking it was more like 0.2-0.3 mg/ml. But as you said, it is so little it doesn't change the nic level based on the mix ratio in a normal recipe.
