I have been reading horror stories about the Vamo since 4/25 when I ordered my ss one from VB. I like it ALOT. Everything works and measures very closely, not way off, as previously reported. It vapes VERY good but is a little on the heavy side. My center post is straight as well, 510 threaded. I have not tried the ego threads because I have no need. There is a good gap between my carto tank and drip well. I really DON'T have anything bad to say. I really feel sorry for the people that had a bad experience. Maybe mine is a newer tweaked model and 8 days from China to Charlotte is to be commended.

The fact that you got a VAMO from VB that doesn't have any QC issues just means that you were fortunate in the luck of the draw rather than it being the result of any manufacturing QC improvements. I spoke to Tim at Vapor Beast last week and he is still having to weed out a lot of QC stuff in his recent orders. I think it would be safe to assume, given the posts I've read on ECF, that VB doesn't check VAMOs for QC problems before shipping.

I feel the same way as you hvac999 , I have nothing but great things to say about the vamo v2...it's my first vv/vw device, but nevertheless I don't have any complaints about it!

I got a vamo just last week to use while I send my provari back for repairs. I got the ss one from exhale vapors. I was convinced that I'd be disappointed with it after using a provari for so long, but I really like it a lot. With the 18650 it's a little too long for me, so I ordered some 18350s and I love the size with them. Have to charge the batteries more often, but they charge quickly. Rotating 3 isn't too big of a problem. I love the menu system. It may not be as durable as the provari, but, hey... My provari has a messed up button, so they are not immune to malfunctions.

I had gone back and forth between getting another provari or something less expensive, and I have to say I am very pleased with the vamo. I'm not crazy about the modulated voltage, but after a few days I got used to it. I'm very happy with the ease of changing the voltage and find myself changing it up to suit my mood way more than I did with the provari. I didn't think the provari's click click click menu bugged me, but now I'm not really sure I want to go back to it when it is fixed. I was never a provari fan girl, but I do think its an awesome pv. I always thought I'd get another provari someday, but now I'm not sure if the cost is really justified.

If I had gotten a lemon I'd be pretty unhappy, so hopefully quality control will pick up for these guys.

Yes I agree, luck of the draw, especially with vaporbreak, I can attest to the fact they don't check their devices before shipping to make sure they power up/work. Learned the hard way, you get a deal sometimes, burned sometimes.

Congrats on getting your Vamo...my experience has been similar to yours and it works really well for me and hasn't been a bit of trouble...I didn't get it from VB though...
