Thanks for the giveaway innokin!

My question is why do Innokin devices require 3 clicks to turn on/off instead of the usual 5 clicks?

My first rta was the ares 2, it was simple, straightforward and included everything you needed to start.
We live in a busy world, why waste 5 clicks when you can achieve the same with 2 :) We also want to be different!

Thank you for your kind words!

According to the first post in this thread:

So, I'm kind of confused why other members are answering the questions that people have asked them. :?:

I do have a question, or rather 2...for Phil and/or Dimitris though.

1) What prompted you 2 to join with Innokin...to design, manufacture, and introduce to the market...what became extremely popular new MTL tanks and coils (ie. the original Zenith 4mL tank, the D22 2mL and 3mL tanks, the Zenith coils, and the Zlide)?

2) Are you guys 'bout finished coming up with new Innokin products? 'Cause my "vape stash" seems to grow each time you come out with a new one...and I'm getting close to running out of room! :D

Hi and thank you for the questions!
1. We felt at the time 2017 that Innokin was our best fit because they always have believed in creating designs for smokers which is Phil's and mine passion. We also felt that the market again at the time (2017) was lacking MTL options for smokers/vapers and Innokin was determined to change that. So it only made sense for us to team up with them and develop the Platform Series giving consumers an option of devices/tanks that all use the same coil to stop confusion and make it easier for vape shops at a economic price.

2. Finished? We are just getting started :) we have a nice pipeline of products that hopefully you will see on the market!

I don't want to take part in giveaway cause I am not greedy and already won one so others need to have it more than me...
My question is why u had to make the z80kit so dam perfect?????....I can't stop vaping it and I feel like I am cheating on my other devices

Also on a serious note it's perfect kit in every way for new but also experienced vapers for many reasons i can't mention atm cause will be tooooo much of a message.......just wondering if I can take apart from eachother the airflow ring from the base like in the zlide cause so far seems a little tight and I haven't tried seriously by using PG to lube it cause I am busy vaping it lol
Hi we appreciate the kind words, I love the z80 myself! The airflow ring is not designed to be removed!

Happy Vaping!

The new products look interesting! I have a question regarding the original Zenith tanks. One of my original Zenith tanks has developed what looks like a rust ring at the bottom on the inside of the tank. Is there anyway to clean/salvage this tank?
Stainless steel does not rust, I assume it is liquid that has tainted it. You can try to use warm soapy water and a qtip to insert and try to clean it. If it doesnt go away, just recycle and get a zenith 2 :)

First of all - thanks for this chance!
I was lucky enough to try many devices from Innokin, like MVP5, Sceptre, Podin, Adept Zlide, Kroma Z and others and every single one was really cool and nice.

So several questions here from me:

1. Do you have plans to release something new like MVP5? It's really great all-around device with flashlight and powerbank feature and it would be cool to see something like that in a new design or maybe with something new inside.

2. Any chance to see Ares 2 with less restrictive draw? Something like DL?

3. In case if nobody asked yet - any plans to do RTA for Zenith II? (sorry if I've missed that)

Thanks in advance!
Hi and thank you!

1. The MVP engineer team is always working as it has the last 8 years so I would expect a version 6 to be in the works

2. We have a series of RDL/DL products in the works called Performance Series (unlike Platform Series). We will see if Innokin decides to move forward with it.

3. No RBA for zenith, always will be coils :)

So my lady friend wants to quit smoking but she refuses to vape because she believes all of the misinformation that big tobacco put out.
What is the best source to change her mind? I still have yet to get her to watch “a billion lives” which I think is a good start:)
This is your best start: Nicotine without smoke: Tobacco harm reduction

The Royal College of Physicians is the most prestige assembly of medical staff in the world. Good luck to her!

I have three coolfire z80 kits, white, ash gray and black.

There's not much I can complain about.
Ergonomic, aesthetic, super job Innokin.
I think maybe the 510 could sit a little more flush.
In terms of color, I would like to see a larger selection, a bronze colored coolfire, etc. kinda a bit retro.

Zenith II atty, easy to disassemble, a good upgrade from Zenith Pro.

I would have liked to see Zlide's drip tip in the package, colors that match the mod & atty, the yellow that comes with the set is not very nice.

In summary, several color options, 510 close to flush, drip tips.
Is this something to come in the near future, Innokin?

I agree with you, however even me and Phil dont always get what we want lol
We have relayed your comment to Innokin :)

I'd love to hear which are their favorite Z coils and why.
And thanks for the contest. I've been relying on Innokin for months now. Excellent flavor and never a leak.
I use the .8 for MTL and .3 for RDL ... all day every day! ALso we are testing a new mtl coil should be released soon.

Phil relays his apologies for not being active yet in the thread. He is currently sick and resting to recover.
As soon as he feels better he will be in here to mingle!

I registered just for this!

I've been looking at moving from a Argus GT w/ a PnP MTL tank to a different platform. PnP coils are pricey and I'm not getting the lifespan out of them that I would like. I will say the R2 coil @ 13w gives me flavor like I've never had with anything else (Caliburn G, Novo 2, Valyrian SE). But the battery door on the Argus GT is trash, so time to move on to a new setup.

I've looked at the Z80 and it looks like a great device, coupled with the Zenith II tank, BUT.. The coils! 6 coils, all designated as MTL type (with one being MTL/RDL), all of which have the same coil material, the same recommended liquid ratios, very similar wattage ranges, etc. It took me a ton of digging to even find what makes the Plexus and Plex3D coils different from the others ("mesh" type versus round wire). And even then, from what I can tell the only difference between those is 0.02ohms, otherwise they spec out identically?

My question for Phil and Dimitris is; what are you go to coils (in a Zenith II, sitting a top a Z80) and why? Can you gent's give a brief explanation of the pros and cons to each coil? Why one might choose the 1.6ohm over the 1.2? What your favorite coils are for a 50/50 30mg liquid? I think I'm a looser MTL / tight RDL guy. I typically have my Cali G on the loose setting, Valyrian w/ 0.8 coil wide open, Novo 2 1.4 MTL pod is great, etc.

As someone new to Innokin products, the marketing (or lack there of) on coils is really frustrating and really pushed me away from the brand. There are a lot of options, all very similar to each other, at least based on spec as that is the only thing Innokin seems to give on the coils and it's really overwhelming. I suppose if I win a Z80 setup, I can just spend the money on a pack of every coil type myself and try them all out :)

Hi and welcome. As the original Zenith tank was designed for MTL its obvious there would be an array of MTL options of users. Hence why you see the line expanded so much for MTL but slowly we are adding RDL options.

My go to are, the .3 for RDL at 32 watts and for looser MTL the .8 at 17 watts. For a tighter higher nic MTL vape i suggest the 1.6 at 12 watts (my wifes all day vape at 12mg). Any mtl z coil will work for 50-50 liquid since it was designed around that.

Hope this helps and hope you vape happy!
