mvp 2 vs vamo 2 vs sid-ugh...I am having such a difficult time deciding-leaning towards mvp 2-my preferred b& m sold out but will e-mail me when in stock, non preferred b&m has in stock at least when last checked yesterday, mbv out of stock for a bit too. belated b-day present for myself...then I can always ask for diff type from hubs at Christmas maybe since i'm a hard person to buy gifts for. just my plan of action I think....we'll see need to see in person-not sure if i'm keen on hard to press button.

Aesthetically speaking the 16 size tanks look a lot better. I bought a Kanger Pro Tank 2 and Pro Tank Mini 2 and the mini looks a lot better (almost like it's what it is designed for). The bigger one works just fine it just doesn't look that great. Ever since I charged the MVP 2.0 I haven't had to recharge it and I've been using it for like 4 days straight. I really like how you can lock the buttons to keep it from firing while not in use.

between here and there
Hello,
got the MPV 2.0 from ebay and am loving it.(and I am a die-hard provari user). I had just ordered one from Fasttech when HK placed the restriction for everything to be x-rayed. So, not wanting to wait, I went to ebay. I simply love it. I am also using a Protank 2 with it. You won't be sorry if you purchase this device. Its a keeper. And I have not experienced any problems with the button. I think it either gets easier the more you use it, or maybe just the simple act of continual use loosens it up a little.

I have to agree here. I got a kanger protank mini v2 when I got my mvp v2. My hubby has a kanger protank v1, and while I think it looks okay, I'm kinda partial to my protank mini! I think it looks so nice on the mvp (yes, like it was made for it)!

Got mine yesterday from Vapingme, they sent two free (wraps?) stickers with it (they were nifty color changing), but I like the color, maybe if it gets beat up through use I'll use them way down the road. I love it its definitely a game changer for me, it works really well with my kanger mini II and my kanger evods. Nice tasty warm vapes.

I purchased mine from a local brick & mortar last week.

The PBusardo and VapinGreek reviews are pretty much right on. I knew I was going to be in love with the MVP v2, and I'm not disappointed.
It's solid, sturdy, and easily the most rugged vaping device I own. I have no hesitancy about dragging it around town with me on rush-hour busses and having it not withstand some normal urban punishment.

I timed the battery as best I could. Hitting the trigger button about 35 times an hour, I'm consistently getting 20 hours of use before the charge light turns yellow. I haven't had opportunity to let it get down to red yet. One reviewer someplace said you need to really try to get the MVP battery to run fully down, and I believe it.

Originally I didn't think I'd have much use for the charging output for iPhones etc. Since getting the MVP however, I've found it useful for charging e-cigarette stick batteries.

Paired to a cardo and ego cone, Protank Mini, or Evod the setup is pretty sleek looking to my eye. I like how it fits in my hand.

re: the trigger button
All the talk about it needing a lot of pressure is true. I don't really mind that though. The puff-counter (really a button-press counter) tells me I'm hitting the trigger 500+ times each day. The stiff button gives me some confidence that it will take 15,000 trigger presses each month without falling apart. That said, I am getting a slight callous on my thumb, which might bother some folks. The other thing I like about the stiff button is, I can throw it into a book bag and not have to worry about it accidently triggering.

My only negatives about the device is the LED and P V buttons don't function consistently when the MVP is charging and is being used as a passthrough. Sometimes, I press either or both of the buttons, and the LED fails to come on. Other times it works. I haven't really looked through the instruction flier which came with the kit -- for all I know, these sometimes-functions/sometimes-not buttons might be documented, but it's certainly not intuitive. It's not a critical issue for me; more an annoyance.

When not plugged in for charging, the P V buttons and LED always operate as expected, and that's all I really care about.

My only other negative is, out of the box, the LED window had several scratches on it.

I'm not greatly bothered by the Output On/Off button on the bottom not allowing the MVP to be placed solidly on a table, though I'd rather it could without wobbling. I'm accustomed to laying down an Ego Twist on it's side, and I just do the same with the MVP.

I wasn't at all impressed with how Innokin's carrying holster for this device looks -- too clunky and large for my tastes.
I'm carrying my MVP around in a leather Body Glove Universal Cellphone Case which I got from Radio Shack 5 years ago. I don't know if they still sell them, but I've seen them on eBay in a six or seven dollar range.
The case has a 1" top flap centered over the 2 1/2" width of the case which, when the MVP is shoved to one side, permits an Evod or cardo on the MVP to stick out from the top like an old-style cellphone antenna -- which leaves on the other side of the case a 5/16th inch space to fit a small juice bottle, cardo, etc. The top flap of the case closes magnetically, and the belt clip is sturdy. Except that the fit of the MVP is a touch too snug, the case could have been intentionally designed for this device.

The MVP is my first piece of vaping gear beyond Ego Twist/ProTank sort of rigs. There's enough familiar about it to make it easy to use, and enough unfamiliar ( meaning "variable wattage" ) to make it a non-intimidating learning experience. For the price, it's the most delightful purchase I've made for vaping yet. All in all, I think it's a lovely piece of tech.

Limner! Be sure to remove the thin plastic film on your LED screen!!! I thought mine was scratched too then noticed the plastic film and ripped it off, revealing the BEAUTIFUL mirrored finish. Thanks for the review. Been vaping on mine all week and just love it. I have had ZERO problems with the fire button. I must be hella strong! I've been rocking it with my mini protanks with great vaping results. Such and incredible upgrade from my VV 650 eGo battery. Love love love it!

LOL, yeah. I discovered the plastic protector sheet on the LED several days later when it started to peel off after a cleaning. That's what I get for trying to review a product which is smarter than I am.

I'm still loving the device.

So, without having fully walked my husband through my brand new MPV 2.0, he picked it up, looked at the bottom and said, "Someone did some low-grade grinding on the switch." I then told him that "someone" was me! It actually wasn't that low-grade, but he was a machinist and has high standards for grinding, I suppose. I was able to solve the "wobble problem" by simply taking a fine grinding wheel on my Dremel and sanding it down. No issues at all anymore with the wobble. The switch looks fine and I personally don't care how the bottom of my mod looks because it's going to get scratched to hell anyway with use and wear. Only tackle this fix if you are very comfortable with a Dremel. I masked off the surrounding area around the switch to ensure no filings got into the charge ports. You can also mask and just use a fine hand file as well. Good luck everyone with your MPV 2.0. It just plain ol' rocks the casbah. I feel like I was vaping pencils before!

I have had one for a week and a half now- battery on mine seems to run about a day and a half or so- I vape about 3ml a day (and night= I'm up late too) I love it over all- the bottom button doesn't bother me- there are 3 other sides to set it down on people (4 if you include fire button down). and I don't get the wobble really. I on;y go as high as 8.5 watts usually also. I haven't had to charge off the device and think that feature while nice is meaningless to me other than emergency situations. the screen is plenty bright - I think I need a leather or plastic case for the cold weather months- also wish for those times the iclear 30s could be made with a tip of something that will not freeze to my lips. Other than that I am VERY pleased with this mod :)

Why did you grind it?... you know you can just take a pen and press on the button and it will sink into the body of the MVP 2 and be flush. Takes two minutes tops and not much elbow grease.
Yeah I totally saw that plastic film..... totally..... (rips off film) I'm SMRT
I don't know if I'm going to take mine off, since its better than having no protection to the screen
