The problem is I always seem to find something "better". Loved the iClear30, had a stable of them, then somebody, who like llamas, talked me into a Fogger. Now I have a stable of them. Now I am fooling with a Flash E-Vapor which works as a dripper or a tank and it is outstanding, so far. Add to that temperature control, titanium wire and rayon wick.

I have the leather case for the VTR, too, and don't use it. It really doesn't work very well, at least for me. It forever comes un-snapped if it brushes against anything and flops around like a fish. I use a phone case for emergency response people, holds my phone and my mod along with a flashlight and pen.
We must have a different case. Mine slides on and has a bottom flap that you tuck in. Impossible for it to come un-done.

Mine is the original from innokin and has a snap strap over the top of the VTR and two snaps that hold the case closed over the spare battery or liquid being carried. Velcro would have been a better solution. It does look nice though.

I used to have a ton of rbas as well. I finally decided that I was a kayfun person. Got rid of everything else and stopped buying any more. I am sure there are better ones out there but as long as I don't know about them, I am happy!!! I only vape at 1.2ohm and I have no desire to get into sub-ohming.

Bought mine from Etsy about a year and a half ago when I got the first VTR. They just stopped selling them a few months ago. I guess no more demand.

The first part of that sounds eerily familiar, except for me it was T3S's, then Kayfuns, now Achilles. :D And the Achilles has led me to the idea of TC, which leads naturally to titanium. I still don't like rayon though. :D

I gave up on the VTR as a possible when I discovered Kayfuns. I broached the idea to my husband about cutting off the ring, but he's disinclined to buy something for $80 and then perform "amateur surgery" on it. :D There *is* the Kato, which now has been cloned, but it's a mech, not everyone's first choice.

If you get into temperature control you'll be sub ohming out of necessity. It doe extend the life of coils by a big margin by the way, at least from my experience anyway.
I decided that I will stick with mods in the 30 watt range with my Kayfuns. Don't see the need for temperature control unless you are sub-ohming. Problem right now is that you can go crazy buying all the new toys we have. I was doing that and kept going back to my VTR and MVPs. I got rid of the MVP2s and bought a couple of MVP20s. Works for me. What I have right now got me off smoking which is what it was supposed to do. Intent was not to suck my wallet dry. Now I stick to the basics, make my own coils and make my own juice. Keeping it low cost!!

TC does reduce/eliminate burning of liquids which, in turn extends coil and wick life significantly in my experience. Throw in the FDA and what they may "deem" as acceptable and TC is a good choice in reality. TC does require sub ohm coils as it is implemented now. Other than that exception, my stuff is all 1 ohm or greater. I still tootle puff my cig-a-likes that are so convenient when my hands are busy, but lung hits with a decent set up are great!

I am a big fan of the VTR. I just bought another one as it seemed that less and less stores are carrying it. With the 15 watt limit, I guess there is not much demand for this other than for the form factor. Would be nice if they made a newer version. I have had my eye on the XVOstick but I can't justify the cost. Waiting for a clone.

Love the look of the VTR it would be great to upgrade it, maybe with a CFIV, or even the 3.0 pro chip. (ARE YOU LISTENING INNOKIN)
