I( will start with an apology if this in not the appropriate place to post this, I hope it is as I really want the opinions of users, hopefully some who have had similar travels in the PV world. You all have certainly piqued my interest on the REO, but I still have newbie reservations.
A little about me: I was a 2 -2.5 PAD smoker for 15 years. The last 5 years were a pretty light cigarette, the first 10 were Lucky Strikes. I have been vaping for about 2.5 months now. I have had the pretty traditional journey, E9 to KR8 to KR8 big batt. I have been vaping about 3-6mls a day mostly in the 11-18 mg range. I am chain vaping whenever possible (I am new after all) and my current PV will go most of the day on a battery charge (carto's about 1/2 the day, they are 2.5 - 3ml cartos.)
I have been lurking around reading about REO's. If you follow my PV progression, everything I have had so far uses carto's. I have stayed away from atty's, I don't know why, but they seem wierd to me. Dripping had NO allure for me, and though I have never done it, seemed to me like a juice waster, getting it all over. I have the same questions with the REO. Isnt there a lot of juice just hanging around the catch cup and in the atty? (sorry for the question but I have zero exp with attys.)
I do not fiddle with things anymore. I spent too many years as a mechanic (including small engines), and really am not interested in living that over with a PV device. I would like a no hassle good vape. I worry about some of the things here such as "grease" and whatnot, but that probably isnt too much of an issue when I think about it. It looks like from the posts I read, such as the stickies above, the maintainence routine looks pretty straight forward (weekly, with filling as needed).
The price of entry here looks pretty steep, but isn't the main factor here making me hesitant to pull the switch. However in the last two months, I have paid the price of entry a couple times.
Based on this, is there anything else you could tell me that would push me over the edge?
Thanks so much, and again if this isn't the proper place to post this I apologize.
