Was a 30 year smoker started becoming winded all the time and always had migraine headaches, I came to the conclusion that I had spent 70% of my life destroying my health and that it was time that I made a change. It really hit home about 18 months ago when I didn't have the breathing capacity to play ball with my grandson, this and I'm only in my 40 something years. I started researching e-cigs about 3 years ago and was a major skeptic but after timeless hours of hacking away at the web for info around the world about e-cigs, vaping, and the benefits and culture surrounding it I figured well it can't hurt any worse than what I've been doing since I was a kid. The only thing is try and ride your Harley with a sigelei box mod hanging out your mouth LOL! Seriously though it has been the best decision I have ever made I can run and play with my grandsons and it is much cheaper than my 95.00 a week smoking habit. I have spent maybe 300.00 bucks on all my gear over the last 14 months and having a friend that owns his own vape shop certainly makes it easier and cheaper. Sigelei 100w box, Copper Hades, Black Pegasus, MVP2.0, SVD, Ego-Spinner II 1600, Kamry 100, 3 Protank 2's, Iclear 30, Magma, Zenith 28.5 V3, Tobh V2 with Chuff top-cap, Plume Veil, 454 big block, Zenith 22mm V2 and Doge. That sums up my gear and my juice mix is 10/90 VG @ 4 mg nicotine all are custom creations that can only be found at Wake-N-Vape located in Ft. Wayne Indiana. I have had no analog relapses and at over 400 some odd days without an analog I feel like a brand new man. I have not vaped any flavors that mimic a cigarette taste and my recommendation to those wanting to quit smokes, vape your favorite dessert flavor because if not you might not be as repulsed by the taste of a cigarette and don't even purchase the gear to vape until you have committed to never smoking again. Spend the time to research the mod you want to start with and the flavors available at your local shop make some inquiries about the proper nicotine level to start with etc. this is an important part of making your quit plan. Some shops have a juice bar that will allow you to test flavors so that you can find one that you like prior to purchasing a large bottle. Now that you have picked a date to quit then get rid of all your smoking accessories on or before that day, after you have dropped all your smoking accessories in the trash barrel, get in your vehicle get your vape and never look back otherwise you will have a dual habit and twice the expense. This was how I did it and I hope that sharing this with others it will help them too.

At about the age of nine I discovered that if I swiped one of my fathers cigarettes I could make the throat tick go away (Tourette's syndrome), that was in 1949. As a result I found myself addicted to smoking by the time I outgrew the Tourette's as a teanager. Then for years I never gave smoking much thought because it was "the thing to do" anyway, and by the time I did think about quitting I found that I could not.

Since then I failed at trying to quit smoking far more times than I would care to admit to. Even after triple bypass surgery I was unable to quit, and finally just came to the conclusion that "these things are going to kill me" ..... and they almost did.
In early 2011 a friend introduced me to e-cigarettes, and I found the transition from smoking to vaping literally seamless. So I know that vaping works, because it already has ..... I'm still alive!
Now almost 74, I just might get to hang around for another decade or two.
