if they are leaking then its the inner plug and over wicking, adjusting the plug has stopped this, i had one that over wicked , adjusted the inner plug and stopped it, then put plug back to original position and it over wicked, adjusted the plug and stopped it. i wont be aorund till late tonight so ill make another video, its rather simple. i was not getting any juice leaking on that one form the black silicone, it was simply over wicking and easy to fix., it cant leak form the bottom of the cart, it can only leak by going up and in and then down the main tube, thats a over wicking issue, which means they do wick well, but you need to adjust the inner plug properly if that happens.

I've tried three of the five and each time I get two or three good drags but then get dry hits unless I let it sit for about thirty seconds. Is this the nature of the cartos? Or this there something I can do to fix it?

that i cant explain as i have not had that happen yet nor has it happen to dan and together we vaped over 40 of them , and about kept rotating them for the lat 3 days. what you can try is lifting the plug and reseating it.

Just got mine and filled the first one. Really easy fill with a syringe. Vaping at 3.6 volts and so far the vapor and flavor remind me of the BC, except that it's definitely a warmer vape:)

Not sure what you mean by adjusting the plug, bad. They come with the plug firmly planted on top of the coil, should they not be or is this the correct position?

What are the 3 drip tips supposed to be? Three drip tip/mouthpieces - one normal drip tip, one small flexi moutpiece and one fluted whistle tip

I got a rubbery one that's a normal 510 size (I assume that this is the flexi?), a whistle tip, what am I missing?

The clearos come with a tip already in place - in my pack they're whitish-clear. You can either use that, or use the drip or whistle tips.

More results. I pretty much chain vape and have almost emptied an entire TC in an hour. I lay it on its side on my desk between vapes and when I need to walk away and twice, after sitting for a while, I did get juice in my mouth with a small gurgle. This was after about 5 and 10 minutes of sitting. The base is dry, so no leaking there.

It's a really good vape, though. I like the flavor and vapor, but it is a little warm for me without a drip tip. I tend to use the little cap that these come with to keep my PV shorter, so I am sure this can be remedied by putting on a drip tip. They do provide them and say to use them in the instructions so you can disregard this paragraph if you use a drip tip:)

So far I give these a thumb up, but will need to leave one filled over night to see the final results.

Between the BC and TC, I would still choose the BC, but both are an excellent vape.

This was after sitting for 15 minutes

The cool part is that, as soon as I started vaping again the juice poured onto the coils and got vaporized. As long as this is all that is leaks, I'll be perfectly happy.

Just took a closer look at the whistle tip. Interesting design. It has some sort of "filter" or a screen inside of it that covers the entire opening. I think it's meant to capture any juice that might spray up and seems to do it's job at it. Only side effect is that I taste plastic from it. Will try and wash it in some ISP and see if it goes away. I really like the concept.

Yes, please clean it and it will be an amazing drip tip on these. No juice even when it gurgles, the draw is a little tighter because the hole is very small, but it's still really good:)

Bad, will you carry these on the side?

Ok I skimmed through the pages and watched the video, so getting down to the point... the way to fill these is by using the syringe and filling it right side up and up to the bottom of the white base?

And if there's gurgling or leaking, adjust the cup seal? It kinda sounds like these things are pretty finicky. Should I have just gone with the bottom coils instead?

The filling is the same as with all CE2s/Fluxos; right side up, and only to the bottom of the ceramic cup. The cup seal on these is the same as older style CE2s, before the advent of the cup seal with the nipple, like the Fluxos now have. The biggest differences with the new Phoenix is the way they are wired, with the wires hidden, and the flat base plate at the bottom. These are a lot less leaky than older CE2s, as long as you don't overfill them. So far, I haven't needed to adjust the cup seal.

Okay I have filled 2 thus far. Both vaped great until I let them set for a bit (between 10-15 minutes). I left 1 on its side and the other standing up. When I came back to them both of them gurgled. Blew both of them out, and reseated the cup seal on on both of them. There is no way to get them any tighter than what I have them.

I then vaped them for about 1 hour alternating between draws. Draw from number 1 and then draw from number 2..now back to number 1...you get the idea. They both vaped great - no gurgles or dry hits. So I set them to the side again doing the same thing I did the first time; 1 on its side and the other standing up. Went back to them 6 minutes later and both gurgled again. Odly enough the 1 standing up had more of a gurgle and when I blew them out it had much more juice come out then the one laying on its side.

Hopefully I will have time to mess around with them some more today and will repost my results. They are not a high priority for me as I do not like the warm vape the produce.

Edit - Forgot to mention that I have yet to have any juice leak out of the 2 I am playing with. To test I left 1 standing up and the other laying on its side overnight. The next morning there was no leakage at all on the outside. But they did gurgle. Off topic but we need someone to create us a "gurgle smiley"

Bad i dont live far from you maybe i could stop by for a CLEAROMIZER class on How to get these things to stop leaking LOL.
All joking a side really quick i am addicted to the Bottom coil version, so i am happy with those. I just received the Top coils , the first one i tried after the first fill i decided to take it apart and loa and behold i busted it because you can remove the bottom piece because of the wire, and that was my mistake, so be it i through it in the trash no big deal. I saw some mentions of how to adjust the top coil to prevent LEAKING, do you think we could get a video on how to tweak these things to best way possible to not have them leak. I did fill them exactly as BAD did in the video. They do work betting then the FLUX SUPREMES in my opinion, not as good as the BC, but they are wayyyyyy better then the older ones that other vendors have sold so with that i think gotvapes is awesome for putting so much effort with getting these things right, i think we should all have a moment of silence ( tick tock, tick tock ). Ok silence is over, we GV is great, so now , with that , LETS GET A VIDEO FOR MAKING THEM LEAK PROOF LOL ! Have a great days guys

Mine don't leak out of the bottom a bit, when I fill to just the underside of the cup. But they will gurgle a little. Not bad at all. The gurgling seems to stop once the juice is down to the bottom of the black shrink tubing.
I haven't figured a way to get the tubes off though. I only tried one, and it came apart at the base. The base is two pieces. It separates just below the o ring.

Thanks Rule,, ill try filling just under the cup and see how that does. maybe i filled it too much. the first one i used out of the box was a great vape, but thats the one i busted cause i didnt realize you couldnt take the tub off because of the wire. I guess when i have to clean one, i will just remove the seal and run some hot water in the tube. ive cleaned the BC version without removing the tube and that worked, i guess i can do that with the TC. thanks dude

yes we actually could do that, i will be making videos becuase its kind of shocking people are having issues, as i see posts i just keep filling more and vaping more, there was over 50 in total easily sitting on the desks and dan and I checked them all, we had 2 that over wicked and fixed them in seconds, other then that i think one was over filled, blew it out and it was perfect again.
so ill make more videos to help you all along, but all in all not having these issues, maybe its the juices your using, not sure, but it could be possible the needle tips they include are to small so your pushing more pressure into them, not sure yet but ill keep an eye out. mine have been vaping great and issue free minus the ones i mentioned

I have noticed that the slower you fill them, the better, especially as you get near the top. Because as you fill, the air you are displacing only has 2 places it can go. Either out the tiny hole on the cup seal, or down the center tube. If you fill too fast, the air doesn't have a chance to vent before juice climbs up the wick, and floods the cup. The new Fluxos, with the nipple type cup seals, have a large opening on the side of the cup seal to vent air as you fill.
