Hi Tim and all Mako fans! I've been a lucky boy and have been testing the 801 prototype for a week now. Are you ready to read a text review? Well, are ya, punk? 
We are hoping by the end of January we should have the first batch ready.

what prices are we looking at?

I think we're looking at around the £60 mark for one complete Mako starter kit (ie. either minno/midi or maksi) including all the accessories needed to get going. Sleeves/adapters/other accessories will be available additionally for people looking to upgrade to a different size.
There will also be bare bones kits available for less than the full kit price, but prices will be available upon release.
Tim.... You made a good choice letting TrueLove be one of your testers.
Yesterday he took your little baby out for a nite on the town. Met up with him at the NYC Vapers Meeting. I got to try out the new toy myself first hand. Love it. Used it till I killed Trues batteries. Cannot say enough about the button action. You did some sweet job on it. Even the locking and unlocking of the button was smooth. Really nice design.
The locking button is a major selling point to me. I would have no problem carrying this in my pocket without worry. I got this thing about my pants catching fire.
And its nice to know that someone, I haven't met. And is an ocean away from me.
Also cares about my pants catching fire. For that I thank you............
When their ready, plan on boxing up one of those babies and sending it to Brooklyn.

Just a note to point out that when the sets go on sale, the protected CR2's will also be available.
Wow, protected cr2's! That's great news. I was under the impression that they didn't exist. What mAh are they?
I'm glad to hear that everyone seems to like this as much as I do - which is a lot! The review will be with you in one week's time (I like to be thorough). But the teaser is - it's great! I love it! It is very straightforward to switch between different sleeves.... now you have to wait a week. Congrats on a great device!
Who'll be reviewing the minno with the 801 atty? That's the one I got to see!

I tried it too thanks to truelove. VERY Nicely made piece. The button was really perfect. I really liked how it locked with a turn of the button.

Thanks for the compliments BigBuyer.... one of the testers told me: 'You can lock the switch by only single hand, so if you vape the MAKO with your right hand and eat a pizza with your left hand, your oily
left hand don't need to touch the MAKO to lock the switch and your lovely PV keeps clean' lol

You are going to be snowed in for a couple of days so it will give you plenty of time to make a couple of vids and get polishing some Mako's
