This seems like the bomb for a simple mod. Super T quality with a better locking device than the P+ line. If the button is anything like my 14500 was, it will be smooth as silk.

Mine is crunchy, only way I have gotten around it is put 3 washers and make it a hair trigger.

Crunchy is an interesting descriptor. We run really tight button to wall clearances so they can take a bit of breaking in. We deburr them all before they go out and test them for smooth action, though that doesn't mean some may not get through that aren't as smooth as others or we missed a burr. I'd just disassemble, take a bit of 400 or so grit paper and spin the button shaft in it and then wrap a piece of it around sharpie and spin it inside the lock ring. Or you can just use it, it'll break in smooth as butter once its worked for a while.:)

button is smooth if you press it square but crunchy if its pushed off center. its just from the tool tip radius and feed giving it a bit of grooving when machining. should wear down after use or you can polish it out with some 1200 then 2000 grit sand paper. i think the 14500 is smoother because the brass ring is softer.

I like how light this mod is. I'm using an AW IMR 1600 mah battery. Had to add another O-ring and 3 washers to get the mod to fire. It fires every time now. There's still just a hint of a battery rattle but nothing to get OCD over. Love the new contour drip tip I got as well. Nicely done David and team!

If you got a bit of battery wobble, then your current setup (2 thick orings .100 each =.200 thick) I'd go with three thins (.070 x3 = .210). That will eliminate the rattle. You could probably go two thick and one thin too (.240). We made this post longer too so you can put up to 5 washers on it to adjust throw.

We estimated 3-6 business days on the website order page and we've been meeting that, so it won't be long :)

Nice! Thanks! I saw the 3 to 6 days but when you said there only 10 left I was just  and hoping I didn't miss out ! I'm waiting for ela to be back in preorder! And I can't wait until simplicity 18500 and 18350 to come out. And also the kicklet.
And also other future goodies(RBAs an other mods)
I check the website several times a day.

Thanks again for your reply but real thanks to all the hard work you guys do!!!!!

Here's my Precise Simplicity 18650 with a Grand Vapor Trident and an Envision Vapor glass tip. It took several tries to find the right combination of washers and O-rings for the Sony batteries I'm currently using. I ended up going with four washers and two fat O-rings. The fit is perfect now, with zero battery rattling. It hits very hard and the craftsmanship is some of the best I've seen.

I think this mod will be perfect for my wife, but she uses Kayfun Lites almost exclusively. I know the Lite is a little wider than the simplicity and was wondering what the combo would look like. Does anyone have a Simplicity 18650 with a KFL that could post a picture?

Thank you...

Wongster thanks for posting the pics....my wife isn't as fussy about looks so this just might work for her....

Sure thing. It has about a 1mm overhang. It really isn't as bad as one would have thought. Thanks to the adjustable center pin, it's as flush as you can get :)

Just need to know one thing before purchase, guys...

How does the button action/ conductivity compare to the PrecisePlus?

Meaning... Do you remember that side-button pressing trick cause sometimes the P+ was not delivering that perfectly that happened to many of us... !? -Then, this thing is not a problem here anymore, or is it?

Please fill me in?

Also, WILL it hit harder than the P+? -As a Caravela, or Poldiac???

Please share!!!
