I'm very glad to see American companies coming up with innovative ideas :) This atomizer looks great, and I must have one of them.

I do hope though, that David will keep in mind that some of us like quite large airholes. I personally vape with dual 3mm air holes, a "cloud chaser" I guess you could say, that's what I enjoy.

I'm not sure on the airhole sizes in the strata of course, but I do ask, David, can you please make sure the atty is cloud chaser friendly too?

You could bore one or two of the holes out to the next size, there may be just enough room, wouldn't be too hard since they come predrilled.

Looking at the specs we have now, we could possibly go as large as 1.5875mm x 4 holes for a total of 6.35mm and of course adjustable all the way down to 0 airflow. That's what our beta testing is for, so we'll see if that's an adjustment we should make.

You just earned the first Beta Brownie Point and you're not even on the team.

David, fix this guy up.

LOL that's OK. I don't want to be an inconvenience. I'll just be patient until the tanks need tested. :)

... or 1/16" for those who refuse to reject King Henry's foot as a unit of measurement. :D

If you decide to change the air hole specs I'll be sure to update the tag.

1.587mm dia x 4 holes = 7.91mm2

3.174mm dia x 1 hole = 7.91mm2

Hope that helps. Please check these calcs though as I am a bit rusty and it's time to sleep.

I've got a feeling that once this goes into production, Simplicity 18650s might be hard to come by....

I was thinking about that all day. As soon as I convince the wife that I "need" a simplicity it will be ordered. But even if they do become hard to get, I was in the military and I waited for a Shockwave, so I almost have a phD in waiting :)

My five testers, could you send me the address you want your Strata sent too, title the email "Strata tester", include you ECF user name in the email too. Most of you I know your name and address, but just to be sure. Send to supertmanufacturing@yahoo.com

12 hours late to email you on this as I was busy with a looooong day of work.

SENT!

Dimensionally the same?

I wouldn't mind waiting and/or paying a bit more if the ELA Strata had an increased (possibly just wider) juice well.

It would be the same, keep in mind that the threads of the top cap of the ELA where it screws into the extension tube are approximately the same diameter as the P+ and Simplicity and much of the well extends down into the threaded area.
