Perhaps some people would prefer to have an option to buy a product that is in stock, rather than pre pay for something that will surely not arrive in a timely manner.

As the two Simplicity's were my first order, I was also disappointed by the delays, but from what I read, everyone is super happy with Super T's products so I am not letting this deter me. I am guilty of underestimating time required on my jobs also. In fact I just ordered 2, but turns out I may be somewhat of a half-wit (or full on dumbass, David can decide), as I ordered the P Plus, which I don't own. Hope I didn't cause too much trouble for them. Anyway, stalking the site until they go live for ordering. Just wish I had mine in hand so I could decide which finish to get. I think both the Ti 350 and 18500 SS will look best with the polished, but if anyone can suggest different I'm all ears.

Yes I think the polished Strata will look amazing on the Ti and on the regular Simplicity..

Here is the photo from the 1st post.. Polished Strata on a Ti Simplicity = Gorgeous!

We'll probably only be making the dripper (and in smaller quantities then we originally put up) as we've only sold 26 of them so far. It's not feasible for us to make products with no demand. I'm surprised theres not more interest considering i'd estimate we've sold a couple of thousand of the PrecisePlus 18000 series.

Probably end up like the Shockwave, once we close the presale, then everyone will complain they didn't get one. Well, here's your chance folks, if you want a rebuildable for your PrecisePlus, this is looking like your one and only opportunity so don't miss out!

im thinking alot of previous precise owners arent checking this forum or ur site to even find out about this strata.. thats a shame.. shockwaved indeed

Absolutely agreed and its why we make our preorders completely voluntary with a refund available at any time you wish to cancel. It's risk free.

On the PrecisePLus, we really do have to do a preorder as I have no idea how many people are going to want one. Lists don't work, people just write down that they want one and then don't buy when they come available and you way overproduce which we can't afford the time and money to do.
If it's a lack of awareness, maybe you could consider starting a thread in the Supplier's subforum with the details and maybe a pointer to this thread. It gets a diverse readership. It'd be a shame if P+ owners missed out simply because they weren't informed.

I'm thinking that you're right. A lot of people probably haven't heard that David announced the Strata so spreading the word will probably help. Maybe one of us should post something in other areas of ECF (i.e. RBA section) to let others know.

Yeah, im guessing its some of them aren't aware since I once again just dropped it in peoples lap :) I'll try to spread the word more. We put it up on Facebook too and that's a good idea to put a thread up there too.

I started a thread on another forum the day this thread came to be. It did gain some traction, although most were complaining about the pre-order. Their loss I say...

Funny how people will complain about waiting a few weeks for an innovative, well built, made in the USA device but they happily wait a year or more for an inferior and over priced mod because it has the old spice logo on it.. LOLOL

Like you said, their loss and I am sure a month or so from now some schmuck will be posting a 'Wanted To Buy' ad...

I've posted about it on the forum I most often visit...quite a few vapers on there, and I'd say the most interest will be for the universal model. I can't wait for the Simplicity.

I have a feeling the Strata is going to be amazing, and a big upgrade for the clone Trident I'm using...just having this atty on here makes me feel bad, clones are a huge downer in my eyes...I bought this not knowing anything about it. I collect custom knives, and counterfeits are a big problem for the maker's...I'd much rather support the craftsman, not the off shore mass producing thieves.

Well, I was trying to wrap some coils for a professional shot for the website, but I always make ugly coils, oh well, it shows you exactly how I set mine up. This is a four coil setup (two on the other side). I'd recommend if you run two coils, run them on opposite sides, opposite each other, it'll make for more uniform airflow. If you run a single coil, pick your poison where you want it, it makes no difference.
