Looks like I am on this list. Locking button 18350. I have almost mastered patience so it's all good.

I've identified the problem, the switch screw is too short to be able to add enough washers. Older Precise's prior to the locking button had a longer switch screw that you could add more washers to , but the newer ones with the locking button had a shorter screw that you could add 3-4 washers max too. A temporary fix will be a magnet on your battery (if anyone has a link to some small flat magnets they use, please feel free to share).

As a permanent, correct solution, i'll machine up some of the older style long switch contact screws for everyone who bought a PrecisePlus version and get them out to you as soon as I can with orings and washers, no charge. The correct set up should be approximately (depends on what brand IMR battery) 2 thick, 1 thin oring and 5-6 washers.

A Kick would take up too much space. All that's needed is an extra couple of millimeters.

I'm patient, I'll just wait for the longer screw. Also, I've never been comfortable with the idea of using magnet spacers...

Not on the 18350....I was asking for myself as far as using a kick with an AW IMR 18500 in a precise+ 18650....

As an aside....I have the button problem myself...locking button and when trying to use an AW IMR 18650 the switch post is pretty much too short and only has enough body to go up to 3 washers and still grab a thread...

I'm just trying to get all my ducks in a row for when the strata arrives as far as having appropriate safe battery setup for different coil situations..

Fwiw I sent in my p+18350 for a good going over and ordered 2 strata to be shipped back with it. I haven't received shipping confirmation yet. But I know know it will be worth the wait..

I don't have a P+ 18350 body to test with the P+ Strata, but it came setup for a IMR 18350 and only one washer, so it may have enough room, just add two more washers and adjust the orings. May not need the longer post but i'll send them to all who ordered a P+ version, in the meantime, use a magnet (theres a link previously) or use a Protected battery they are longer then IMR's. Either way, then you can enjoy your P+ Strata until we get those longer screw posts out to you (should be able to start machining them on Thursday).

As a heads up, this only effects the P+ Strata, not the Simplicity Strata or ELA Strata (which we should have finished machining early next week).

David- any kind of ETA for us patiently waiting on our Simplicity Stratas? Any info would be greatly appreciated, I know you are running a small business (part of the reason I support, and refer folks to you. There a lot of smokers/future vapers that aren't interested in forums, but once they try my Simplicity, and find out it's not from China, they are sold). I have a good friend that now owns a Simplicity 18350, no longer smokes, and ordered his strata as soon as I told him about it. He's already using a KFL, and keeps mentioning canceling his order and getting a second KFL (I already have two). I keep telling him the wait will be worth it, but he's put off by the lack of comms(he's not a member here, and relies on me to pass him info. So far everything I've told him (from what I've read here) hasn't panned out. I feel bad since I know he'll be missing out if he cancels, but I don't want to give him any false hopes on time frames. I know he's spoken highly of his Simplicity to guys on the road (lots of tobacco users in the music business)

He was psyched when the Simplicity version went up on the site...he works for a well known band, touring with them as a tech, and literally had to scramble to get a good signal to order from his phone while on the road.

I'm on the same boat as @high voltage, I just picked up another KFL+ now I have 2 was thinking bout picking up a Hana to go with the KFL, but I don't want to cancel cause I'm sure this will be worth the wait, decisions decisions.

Thank you- very excited to try some new ideas with this! My KFLs are going to be for my DNA build(s), and the Strata is staying on the Simplicity....then there's the P+16 to consider...any plans for a mini strata?
