Is there a price out yet?

Thats the only draw back, the machine time on these is unreal do to all the turning and milling and drilling, plus we even made the screw posts, they aren't hardware bought allen heads or Phillips. We have about 45min each in machine time in each, so I estimate about 150.00. They do have a lifetime warranty though and also a lifetime refinish warranty so its still not a bad deal.

After seeing the machining I expected them to be higher than $150 to be honest..

$150 sounds like a very fair price to me..

I agree. In fact David, why don't I send 200 your way and you just go ahead and throw one in with my Ti order? Eh? ;) Seriously psyched to see these go live in a few weeks.

I agree 100%. That would make a complete Simplicity hybrid just shy of $300 (depending on which tube size you get), which is a great price for a setup of such exceptional quality.

well if you do the math, lets say 60 min/ 1 hour per atty. So that at least 500 attie so if the machine went 24 hours non stop that would be 20 days to make them, that if it went 24 hours a day and not mess ups or broken parts etc. Then Im sure at least 1 hour to hand finish and fit and quality control each, so thats another 20 days etc.

So I would say that by the spring we should all have at least one topping our simplicity. You gotta figure though the Strata is smaller than ELA, it sounds like more machining on it. ELA started preorders in Dec 2012 and we are 1/3 into the second batch.

SOunds like forever , but you cant rush such precision instruments.

I worked in the medical industry and we had titanium drill bits that cost a couple thousand.

Now please excuse my math, Im a total DUNCE
