Hmmm a lot to learn...... What is up with the ribbon Kanthal, Is it better? What is the best wick material? I run my mods Kicked so how about a setup for a 2.4-3.0 ohm rba.....

Ribbon is not better than round kanthal. Cotton is better than silica. Mobil-1 is better than Royal Purple. And vi is far superior to emacs. Any other religious wars I can wade into for you? ;)

My testers are really working hard and providing great feedback. Some of this feedback is already resulting in revisions, such a bigger air feed holes and a domed interior to aid drainback and condensation buildup, so we are machining those up and should have them out to testers this coming week to test , so they still have quite a bit of testing to do. If there's an improvement that can be made, I want to make it now, not later so we don't do the old V1 coming out and then a week later we're releasing V2 and then V3 etc to fix what should have been done with V1.

Ribbon Kanthal is flat. :)

The general belief is that a greater percentage of its surface area remains in contact with the wick, so you get thicker vapor. To me, a single coil of ribbon vapes similar to dual coils of wire. But it's not an instant improvement as a direct replacement in every atty. In my Smok Scar, for example, I still prefer wire over ribbon. But I'm using ribbon in my Kayfun.

Best wick material is tough to answer. Everyone has their own preferences. What's the best pizza? Pizza Hut Meat Lovers? Domino's Chicken Florentine? Taco Bell's Mexican Pizza? But the type of coil you prefer will influence the type of wick you prefer. If you prefer traditional coils, then silica wick is probably best. Some prefer Ekowool, which is basically just more expensive, braided silica. If you dig microcoils or some more adventurous, vogue methods of coiling -- some method intended to leave a dirty coil in place, dry burnt and fed fresh wick -- then organic cotton balls. There's also steel mesh and ceramic, but I doubt those will be terribly relevant in the Strata, as it appears that a spongier wick such as silica or cotton will also be employed as filler in the juice well.

To answer your final question, I think a single coil 3-turns-over-4 coil of 34 or 36 gauge Kanthal wire will land you in the range you're after. I wouldn't recommend Kicking multiple coils, though. Dual coils wouldn't hurt the Kick or anything, but performance will be noticeably weaker than running pure mech.

Ultimately, though, since only David and the testers know what will work best in the Strata, maybe taking Nach's advice and waiting until they are able to release their findings isn't such a bad idea. You know this lot won't be able to keep a strong opinion bottled up for long. It's pretty much guaranteed that you'll be able to get their verdict and still have plenty of time to order whatever they recommend long before your Strata ever ships.

And ^^^ that ^^^ is just another reason to love Super T..

Most mod makers just release V1 then a few weeks later a V2 and a month later a V3..

And this is why I buy Super T products. They aren't made and just tossed out to the public. They are meticulously perfected and refined to the Super T quality products that we've all grown to love. Ill always be looking forward to whats next!!! Waiting on the Strata is like waiting for Christmas morning, but I am happy to be patient while the testers help David achieve the product that he wants to put out!
Go Tester!!!!:toast:

Chicken salad sammiches taste better than egg salad sammiches!!!!!!!

Oh hells no! :nah::nah: I love me some chicken salad, but if I have to choose between the two I'd take the egg salad any day . . . though I seriously hope nobody ever turns it into a vape flavor, I'm still scarred mentally from the bacon juices I've tried

Oh, jeez. Egg salad e-juice would probably smell embarrassing, like you'd have to blame it on the dog.

I had some pizza e-liquid once. I ended up having to throw away the unfortunate atty in which I inflicted that foul concoction. It was more like that novelty joke garlic flavored bubble gum you used to buy in magic shops as a kid, than an actual all-day flavor. Anything it came in contact with inherited a permanent funk of oregano and black pepper; and mysteriously, despite all known principles of physics, the smell ignored the boundaries of sealed bottles and zipper sandwich bags entirely. I wasn't even mad. It was amazing. And horrible at the same time.

I just thought I'd show everyone a cool size comparison photo. Nothing in this picture you haven't seen before :)
