I have a Titanium Simplicity 18650. 1 of 2. Yes, I'm bragging.
Yeah well... Snork still has you beat with his collection! lol and I'm pretty sure he is going to be buried with it...

Pretty much. Buried *in* it might be more realistic. Already have given specific instructions, probably ought to put it in writing.
I was thinking about it (my collection) today while scanning the usual (and very understandable) angst about shipping times, people willing to cough up $1000.00 for an ELA, etc., wondering how I managed. I dunno, it seemed to be a very easy and stressless road to amassing 20+ of my favorite items. I just did. I don't think of them in terms of collectability, rarity, value or anything beyond that I like 'em. I really wish that ShockWaves or ELAs weren't such evidently prized items. All that does is make me fearful that some jackass is going to conk me over the head to take mine. It's nice that I live on a vape island.

I just don't hesitate when superdave comes up with new goodies,I order it then wait.

As we have talked briefly in the past about flipping, I will judge, and its ridiculous and shameful. Not to mention the pure idiocy of the buyers. 1k?

I agree with flipping stigma under certain conditions. Those conditions being:
1. That the person "flipping" only bought the device to make a greedy profit.
2. The person flipping has to be the one that suggested the price. I.E. setting an ebay reserve of 600 instead of letting the buyers bid up to that point.
But if someone just decides they are tired of a rare item, puts it up in the classifieds and just happens to be offered a boat-load of money... More power to em!
If you want to witness flipping on a much bigger scale, check out the world of custom knife collecting. Buyers either wait years to get a knife made by in demand makers, attend shows where those makers will hold lotteries, with those that are picked getting to buy direct for the makers price, the only other way to get these knives is on the secondary market, where prices often double, triple, or go even higher than the original price. A folder from Ernest Emerson, Michael Burch, Jeremy Marsh, or Todd Rexford will instantly double the moment it is originally sold. I don't sell the pieces I've been fortunate to get. I actually carry and use them. Last week I was offered $1,200 for a knife I've owned and carried. I was tempted to sell, but there are only 9 others like it, so replacing it would be nearly impossible.
I was fortunate to get on Mr. Burch's order book last year. He took orders for 200 knives in less than 12 minutes, then closed the book. His starting prices are actually quite reasonable, but I've never seen one of his handmade folders sell for less than $1,800.
It comes down to supply and demand, free market, and voting with one's wallet.

I'm not a fan of flipping also but it happens everywhere and not just the vaping community. There is nothing you can do about it and is that persons business if they choose. Look at the new Xbox One and PS4 those were being flipped for ridiculous amounts of money. or even rare sneakers or clothing, people will buy them just to flip them. rare art, furniture or even houses people will buy just to flip em. It's the nature of the retail market. Do I like it, no, and I don't flip anything but if someone is willing to pay that ridiculous amount of money then power to them but if people are willing to pay people are willing to sell.
'Tis the same in the high end custom pool cue market. Some cue maker's wait times are upwards of 8 years. The difference being the extreme high end cue smiths charge pretty high end prices to begin with, and the market dictates what a maker can charge. The 2nd hand market is full of folks just looking for that rare cue that they can buy cheap from an uninformed seller and flip to the well informed collectors...
I always looked at it a bit differently in that this is (or at least was) a tight knit community of people trying to help each other. But people are greedy and see the opportunity to make a buck, and proceed to gouge the crap out of fellow vapers. That's the part that I don't like.

So maybe I've missed it. I thought I read that some people are getting shipping confirmation. Do we expect TI 500's and strata's to ship soon?

I don't think anyone's gotten a notice yet. Based on this post, everyone should get their notice at roughly the same time.
I just got a notice for something! No idea what! One or more of the following:

Just got my notice also. I highly doubt its for the ELA (got another 1000+ orders in front of me), its either the simplicity of the Strata (simplicity), super excited!! I really hope a 510 adapter is made soon for the Strata, id love to use it on one of my 22mm mods w/ a slant cap
i haven't got anything yet..maybe its the simplicity..sounds like a few people that ordered the simplicity got a shipping notice..
