The worst happened, I was cleaning my strata and a negative post went right down the drain, my house is older and the bend under the sink is hardly a bend at all! So sad

Did you have the water on, and if so did you turn it off quickly? Do you have a pipe wrench? This is possibly pretty easy. Don't lose hope.
Try and get the j trap off without spilling the water out of it. I've retrieved a hard contact lens before after having dropped it into the drain.
Use a pair of channel locks and a pipe wrench to loosen your drain pipes and make sure you have a bowl and some Teflon tape handy. Re-install in the reverse order applying the tape to all threads. Take pics if need be, and I REALLY hope it's in there!

Thanks for that however my j-trap is more like an L bend. The water ran for a few seconds before I realized what happened. I will try and tank it apart tomorrow.
Thanks to Nach... I had an opportunity to take a quick crack at the Strata and I have to say it is very promising. The 360 air flow is perfect for the Ophion as Nach suggested. Long story short, this happened... and he was right!
Here's the vapor production... Video
My conclusion... it has a lot of potential. If I'm given the chance to have a good sit and build time on it, I can build the perfect ophion coil on it (unlike the rush build shown above) and it will produce more vapor.

Just saw this...so is this still in hybrid mode only? Or does it have a universal 510 connection already in preorder/etc?
I have a few of these custom tips to match my APV setups and colored pyrex tanks. It has SS core of 3mm inner diameter hole. It keeps the vape more warm without getting the entire tip burning hot.
Ok, got my strata today. Just starting to experiment. I will post thoughts and pics when I get to a computer.
One thing first though. I'm struggling a little with machine oil taste. I have boiled, and boiled again with some Dawn in the water. I have scrubbed with soap. I suspect oil may be in the air passages. Anyone have any pointers on how to remove it? The air passages are too small to get much in there for scrubbing.

Yep. Takes a little chutzpah.
Get some soapy water in your mouth, plug the drip tip with your finger, and blow the water in the open end of the top cap with all your might. Repeat with plain water.
But then your breath won't smell like New Zealand Rainforest Dawn.
I think this also works like prunes cleaning your own system out.
I got a syringe that I keep from my daughter's medicine that I think I will use. I hate oil and definitely don't wanna taste it.

Maybe I'll have to try that. The Orange Zest Ajax that I've got here doesn't taste all that good . . .
