Tell me about it, and I use 4mg or less on most of my juices. I cant handle the Strata. Even with no nic liquids the TH is overwhelming.

Well, we could try to figure out why. It certainly doesn't have to be that way, I know that for a fact. I also know for a fact that the TH can be atrocious on a Strata but haven't really had to pinpoint why because it has been awhile - the last time the Strata ripped me up was during testing.
Or you could say the Strata is not for you. God knows I've given up on things after one or two toots.

I hope that didnt come off as being critical...... Ive tried quite a few builds. I just cant seem to come up with a happy medium. Either its tolerable but too much taste, and medium to low vapor..... I know that sounds illogical, maybe my flavours are not that good to start with?

Or I get great clouds, I mean KFL large, but the TH is too much and the nic makes me swoon. The best one was the duals with one wire . The best cloud maker was the Ophion, but could only handle a couple puffs..... I tried resistances of 1.0 to 1.5 any lower was too hot for me.

Im trying to love it, it looks so beautiful on my Simplicity. Im going to clean it up and put it away for a while till I feel adventurous again..... I guess Im a whimp:(

You *can* be critical! It's one way to motivate, especially when there are bozos like me out here who swear it's the best thing since sliced bread. Where does that come from?

Some thoughts: I'm a dripper and always have been. I'm very accustomed to the nuances and reading what the atomizer is telling me. I've learned to recognize the differences a half a millimeter makes. A dripper is always more flexible than something that basically forces you to "Put this sized coil --> HERE". So then in addition to a drippers inherent flexibility the Strata comes along and says "Do whatever, wherever, however, good luck baby".

I'm also a TH fiend. My idea of a good vape revolves around it. I don't like a sore throat for sure, but love the feeling of things in my lungs and throat much more than I care about vapor or flavor. 24mg WTA in a Strata is a piece of cake for me.

Otto Frederick Rohwedder of Davenport, Iowa, USA invented the first loaf-at-a-time bread-slicing machine. A prototype he built in 1912 was destroyed in a fire and it was not until 1928 that Rohwedder had a fully working machine ready. The first commercial use of the machine was by the Chillicothe Baking Company of Chillicothe, Missouri, which produced their first slices on July 7, 1928. Their product, "Kleen Maid Sliced Bread", proved a success. Battle Creek, Michigan has a competing claim as the first city to sell bread presliced by Rohwedder's machine; however, historians have produced no documentation backing up Battle Creek's claim. The bread was advertised as "the greatest forward step in the baking industry since bread was wrapped."

St. Louis baker Gustav Papendick bought Rohwedder's second bread slicer and set out to improve it by devising a way to keep the slices together at least long enough to allow the loaves to be wrapped.[2] After failures trying rubber bands and metal pins, he settled on placing the slices into a cardboard tray. The tray aligned the slices, allowing mechanized wrapping machines to function.

W.E. Long, who promoted the Holsum Bread brand, used by various independent bakers around the country, pioneered and promoted the packaging of sliced bread beginning in 1928.[6] In 1930 Wonder Bread, first sold in 1925, started marketing sliced bread nationwide.

As commercially sliced bread resulted in uniform and somewhat thinner slices, people ate more slices of bread at a time, and ate bread more frequently, because of the ease of eating another piece of bread. This increased consumption of bread and, in turn, increased consumption of spreads, such as jam, to put on the bread.

The TH is artificial, ie not from the nic, but from the airflow. Try to imagine what is happening under the cap...air is being sucked in 360 degrees from around the rim, hitting the ledge, shooting out at 90 degrees then returning straight up. If you place the coils as much into the path of that air flow as possible, the TH will be reduced.
What I've found is that with the strata I Have to take lung inhales...mouth to lung hurts my throat.

So between you and me we could solve the mysteries of the universe. It *is* about the airflow, but they way you put it it's something about the Strata that *makes* you have to take a lung hit. I'm not so sure that could be true unless I have alligator skin in my throat. I rarely take direct lung hits and savor every slow moment as the vapor scrapes its way down, if I make it whiz right past I feel gypped. Do I have alligator skin or do I have the Strata set up in such a way as to not hurt me?

We'd love to help you anavidfan! We have some specs on your builds, but to visualize how they are set up is difficult without any pictures. i'd recommend when you try a build that you dont like, snap some photos and post them up, that way we can accurately see whats going on under the hood and hopefully come up with some recommendations on how to improve it for you! Before you put it away, how about some pics of your latest build?

My latest is a dual coil build with gauze. I will see if I can snap a few shots with my good camera so you can see what is going on. :)
