yellow have blue LED's... the auto LED should be red on the RED...ALL the charging lights are blue on every color.

I don't care personally, but just so you know, the LED on my red auto x2 is blue.

I haven't charged it yet so I couldnt tell you the charging LED color

The led on the auto x2s isn't visible when the end cap is on. Even if you leave the end cap off the led can only be seen by the vaper by looking in a mirror, cupping your hand over it or sitting in a dark room.

Would it be possible to put a "ring" that would light up where the chrome at the thread end meets the body of the pv? There is a battery (which will remain nameless) that has that, but it's a manual. I wondered if that design would be possible with an auto.

I ordered the X2 Auto 1300 mAh in silver along with some other supplies today. How long before you ship and what color is the LED in the Silver one? Can't wait to give it a try...

Shipping is usually same day. There's been an issue with tracking emails going out that they're working on, so even if you don't get a tracking order, your order will still go out. My order from Monday got here yesterday, but still says processing on the site.

The LED is blue when charging, not sure when using it, mine are older. You won't see the LED unless you're in front of a mirror in a dark room or cupping your hand over it with the end cap off. My end cap stays on unless I'm charging my battery.

LOL, poor mudhill..

When you take the end cap off, there is a 2nd LED that lights when vaping. On my purple (new) one that is very dim blue. On my black (old) one it is a more noticeable red. Not sure what color LED goes with what color battery as a rule, but I'm sure that's been mentioned somewhere or another. Neither are as bright as the blue charging light. If you don't get any vaping light at all, then that LED must be loose or dead. Shouldn't affect the performance, but still a nice indicator that it is time to recharge, so if needed you can return for an exchange.

Another idea is to give it a good whack, but that's likely to void the warranty so I wouldn't recommend it :)

Has anybody used a large EGO carto (5ml?) on these? Visually inspection shows these will fit nicely (?). I need something with some capacity. Most I have found are dual coil, which I know is not recommended. I have used a dual tank on my x2 manual and it worked fine so I dont know what to think. The tanks suck though - I have dumped juice on my self a number of times so I gave up. In summary,

What is the biggest juice storage device you have used successfully on these?

Thanks

I've use the Kanger T2, (2.4ml), the vivi nova with an adapter (3.5ml) and the 3ml bottom coil phoenix.

Personally, I don't like cartos and I don't like tanks that use cartos (one reason is because they leak)

As far as dual coil, they are hard on batteries. They draw a lot of amps. They also give alot of vapor, but not a lot of heat. Basically, if a dual coil is labeled 1.5ohm dual coil, it is comprised of two 3.0ohm coils.

Welcome to the insides of the X2.

The little black wire in the red circle was disconnected from the negative pole of the battery rendering the auto battery useless.
AGAIN poor soldering quality.
It's impossible to repair this battery since the caps are press fitted so strong i had to destroy the casing to see what's going on, i will simply analyze this 650mA battery and it's ciruit.

Seems the best place to try and open it is the top. There are two pcb's inside the battery, one is holding only the miniUSB connector and the other the led's etc.

Seems it uses the old style passive air switch and a STW862P ASIC, a controller used in ECHO batteries too. VERY little info on this controller just like the 78mm batteries.
Seems whoever makes echo batteries makes X2's, same factories etc etc. (hangsen?)
The LED is on the other side.
