I did get the black, and it is very much a charcoal black, more than a black black. I honestly like the grey/grayish color of it.

Here are some photos from all angles. iPV V1 - Imgur

The nerf dart/egg is for reference.

Nice pics. On top, you got the ipv-1, which is the 35W model. Still, that model has the top flat button. It is my understanding that on the ipv-1 that button is non-functional. Or can you use it to fire the mod? Please check and do tell. I like the top button fire capability, but don't need 50W. So if the button indeed works, I would go for the 35W version.

Yeah ofcourse! I'm rebuilding my kraken because it's supposedly 0.1 ohm lol. My ohm reader says 2.9 but the iPV says 1 and it won't fire because it's too low . So the ohm maybe off a little.

This does not make a lot of sense to me. Can you check the numbers? 0.1 and 2.9 and 1 are way too different to understand what is going on.

I am so sorry! I misplaced the decimal lol. I meant 0.29. So my ohm reader read 0.29, but when I put it on my iPV2 it wouldn't fire because it was reading 0.1 so I rebuilt it to a 0.3 by my ohm reader and it reads 0.3 on the ipv. So I'm very happy!

No more pre orders for me. hana modz with SS vapes FAIL. Illvapes hana clone FAIL. Elev8 cana FAIL. BC modz FAIL.
You have had a run of bad luck. I was in on the ssvapes preorder, I cancelled after two and a half months. The BCMODZ and cana from elev8 worked out ok for me. I'm on this pre-order from elev8, July 2nd. I hope your luck changes.

So here are my pros and cons so far

PROS:
Touch fire button is superb! I thought it was going unnecessary and I would never use it but I actually prefer firing it that way

Battery life!! I am surprised by it because it is lasting forever! I have a VTC5 in it and compared to the cloupor DNA 30s, iPV's lasts probably about 30%-40% longer. I've been chain vaping for about a couple hours and it still close to a full bar! And that's at 40 watts 0.3 ohms.

Adjustable connection works great! Doesn't get loose and fits all attys, gennys, etc.

CONS:
This thing is a scratch magnet!!! I recommend wrapping it immediately! I already has notable scratches lol

The screws are a pain in the ....! It's too small and it's hard to take out because every rotation feels like it's tight.

The touch screen fire button doesn't fire right when it away when it's in sleep mode, technically you have to fire with the button and then use touch screen.

Overall, it's a game changer. I find it really to be a DNA30 killer! Hope you guys get yours soon!

I would if I could, but one of the screws on mine is stripped real bad. I am currently waiting to hear from VapeNW on how to return it and etc. I will probably have to wait till Monday for that.

that is just what I was wanting to hear from the touch sensor!

Also, Budkiss mention something about a skin for the box mod, if this is a scratch magnet, it will be a good idea to star sending those requests.

my iPV2 is supposedly on the way. Yahoo. Obsessing and stalking the mailbox.

BTW... I am in communication with two WRAP companies JWRAPS and VAPORSKINZ about a custom wrap for this new mod.
They are both working on it. The more inquries direct to them the better. Thanks for shooting them a plea.

I just got my iPV v1 35w, I can't get the screws off the back of it, because they are put in overly tight. I will probably have to return it, or just keep trying at it, until I can get it open, but I don't want to strip the screws out.
If you havent already, try pushing down hard on the cover with your hand to take some pressure off the screw while trying to unscrew it. Good luck!!

Seams like the norm now is the preorders all ways get there's last Thats BS these Chinese companies need to know better
How could you not get ...... off if you paid weeks before and see some one else get theres before you!
I preordered iPV2 50 watt from Elev8 and if not for the fact I got it for 79.99 I would cancel my preorder right NOW!
I don't like preorders cause I know better but this time I wasn't real excited about getting this Mod and Price was the big factor
So as long as the price was right I can wait But the people who paid the full price for a preorder and are still waiting when other sites all ready have them in stock Have every right to be ...... and I wouldn't blame them if they cancel :(

Preordering vape gear with large production runs is no guarantee of firsties. I preorder as a matter of convenience so I don't have to go chasing around the internet finding somewhere that has what I want in stock. Also, first order in/paid for is no guarantee a retailer will be first in line to be shipped.

Preordering from a first time mod maker is a super risky proposition—probably best done only with "gambling' money.

This is what I'm talking about It should give you Firsties! I'm a Contractor and If you pre paid me to do your work I would not put you on the back burner while I did work for some one else just cause I all ready have your money! But in the preorder Vaping world this is acceptable?
This is a slap in the face to people who pre paid/ordered and is BS business practise as far as I'm concerned! but you are entitled to your opinion

First, in most pre-orders the money isn't collected until the product is about to ship. Second, even if money is collected up front that money isn't sent to the manufacturer, the vendor has it.

If, as a contractor, you were approached by two parties, one of which had a $1000 job at an apartment complex and they told you they already collected money from tenant's, and the other was a $10,000 job where they'd pay upon completion, which job would you satisfy first?

Your missing the whole point the suppliers have orders some are pre paid/ordered a guaranteed sale so they over look them and ship out other suppliers orders first to get all the gotta have it first sales
and lets compare apples to apples you pay me to do a job at your house I collect the money and start the exact same job at house across the street
The owner of said house come over and rubs it in your face that his job is getting done first even if you all ready paid me!
How do you feel about that?

Hmmm..I quadruple like this too... but steamer, I hate to do this, but can you use some sort of punctuation? Sorry...that post was really hard to read..but a good post. And fyi- majority of intelligent people suck at writing. ;)

Great points.. so what is the argument? Vendors are preordering without having an order in with the manufacturer? Or the manufacturer/main distributor is the issue? Both?

Your absolutely correct my writing sucks I was better at Math :)
My point is the manufacture is over looking the preordered sales. Just like Hana did at the vape meets
To get more sales while the item is really hot. They are totally disrespecting the preorder people. Just saying
