Just confirmed from pioneer4you sales rep that the new ipv2 with sx330 2S chip (User upgradable) will be shipping to vendors in one week.... so add 3 weeks transit time for in hand time..
Just thought some would like to know.

Can we buy just the chip to upgrade ours that we have now? They dont expect us to buy a whole new device for 10 watts do they?
Do you have a soldering iron? Do you know how to use it without burning yourself and ruining the board?
I think its the user upgradability that has me interested wether it be more wattage or more features, firmwaee fixs etc...
I wont say for certain but they also mentiined its the same chip going in the 120w ipv3(yes I said 120w ipv3! )
Only difference I noticed in ipv2 w 2s chip vs ipv3 was ipv3 is dual 18650 and the body is slightly different on top section of housing.
As far as upgrading on your own.. im sure you could by the chip from yihi and do it, you will most definitely void your warranty tho on the original unit...

Ps reading closely. Says ipv3 will be user upgradeable to 150 watts..
Putting 2 +2 together, that means the ipv2 w newer 2s chip would do 120w upgrade and 150 if its same chip as ipv3...
Just sayin...
I cant get passed 25 watts w out feeling like I cooked my tonsils personally. I just like features.. im a feature .....!!

You sir need to build different coil types lol I can run some of my sub ohm coils and 50 eatts and still get a cool vape

Well it is indeed true about the chip being the 2s upgradeable version in the next ipv2s im looking at the product list and specs right now. Ship dates say in 7 to 13 days. I just ordered and ipv2 last night from elev8vape and found this info out 10min after I placed order lol!!

I dont care about the higher watts, just the user upgradability. I guess the watts wont hurt for resale...
Maybe you can exchange for credit and pay difference when new one comes in stock (depending on your vendor)
