Oh...and also..

It looks like they're going to make an IPV3S...it is labeled 26650 & 18650...but I suppose it uses the same chip as the sigelei.. according to the spec..

I'm about to get Alibaba sorted out on my end. :)
I hear it is going to be a triple 18650 with a sqonker bottom feed and have a built in ipod.

So I have been reading about what is apparently a dismal product release, one of which I have ordered. I am still excited to get mine, but really hoping someone figures out how to mod the battery cover to use magnets real quick. Of all the issues, the non functioning or non existent charging circuit is the biggest let down to me. If I can mod the thing to where I am not taking a screw driver to it twice a day to change the batteries I'll probably be ok with it.

Other than the charger cord, which could be just needing the right cord, and the lack of a touch sensor, which looks like they did not hook it up in place of where they located the charger port. If you can get past those two things mine functions and vapes great so far.

I think that a charger cord is going to effect some sales though. Shame P4U does not step up and give their customers a straight answer to the issue.

Also I am told that P4U did not do unique serial numbers but rather batch serial numbers to assess how vendors are selling their products. Not sure how accurate that is but it is plausible.

I hope it is just getting the "right charge cord" but I have read a few posts in other places that the charge port is not even connected to the board. I will try to find the post and get a link, but either way, they have OBVIOUSLY released this before it is ready... Not Cool at all.... It will be my last pre-order for anything from them, I will wait till they release a unit that is functioning as advertised, verified by users that actually have the unit. And I will think twice about it then...

Anxiously awaiting the DNA 40 temp control now...

I have been charging my IPV3 with this charger and it has been working so far:

EDIT: DO NOT USE this charger: RCA AH5WH. Although it worked and charged my IPV3, I found out that it has been discontinued due to frying electronics because it produces more volts than selected. If you search for it on Amazon read the reviews. I tested it and found that the 9V setting produced 12 volts. Amazon reviews said it fries electronics SO I WILL NOT USE IT. My IPV3 works fine so I got away from using it a few times but will never use it again.
