Just my experience, the titanium is easier to work with and more stable. I like the 24ga it's real consistent for me and a 3mm 6 spaced wraps gives me .20/21Ω's every time. I'll still use Ni200 once and a while just for the hell of it but have always gone back to Ti.

Just keep in mind that you have to adjust. Mine is usally at 14-16 watts at 330°. Great vapor and flavor and a bit on the cooler side but that's what I prefer.

Search the username Rossum and titanium and you'll wal away with more knowledge then I can share.

rounding third and heading home...
FYI- 1st week in april and they will all have the necessary upgrades when shipped. delay is over some case issues and not the board/software...as long as they get it right i will be patient- yihi/p4you has a good track record -much better than evolv and the dna40. should be a top seller at it's price. watch it sellout very quickly.....

looking forward to something other than this crap dna40.... I hear they are adding a feature to the dna40 that will lock the atty settings in so it might stop the crazy thing going in to wattage mode randomly...

now i just need to decide if it worth ripping apart my mod and shipping it off for a few weeks and hoping that devolv doesn't call the new software tweak a hardware upgrade...

I might just throw it on the classifieds... im tired of this bunk chip...

Owning some dna's that's my challenge with Evolv. When released the chip had issues and they have continued to work on resolutions. As new releases and fixes are complete the folks with older devices aren't benefiting from the fix. And Evolv won't say if those folks that own one will be covered under warranty once the chip it stable. Now you'll lock your settings when they jump because the chip is "refining" against your build. Will that affect the level of TP?

It's somewhat funny that people are trying to discredit PB for his updated video on the DNA chip but Evolv continues to work attempting to resolve the items PB highlighted in his video.

The website I pre-ordered with ( iPV4 100 Watt Box Mod) is saying the same thing now with new April release date.
Why does Pioneer4you always pull this crap!? I pre-ordered my iPV3 through them as well back in August when it was suppose to be released and then they didn't end up shipping until October. I mean I'm happy I got a great deal on it but I just don't understand why they can't be honest about the release date. This damn temp control better work as promised.

Agreed, but I would rather wait a couple extra weeks than get a unit that is not up to what they advertised. I as well hope that they hit a home run with this one, and it works well.

Actually, you guys are probably getting your info from eciggity, which is full of it IMO. Other vendors have known for 3 weeks now that the units were pushed back to April. It's not because of cases, but because they switched to the temp control chip at the last minute. It's been known they weren't shipping until April ever since the temp control was announced.

the board is made by yihi- the case is made by pioneer4you. if there are problems with the case i would rather they fix them and then ship instead of cranking them out quickly just to satisfy demand. the board /chip by yihi will work as advertised. they have an excellent reputation and i have never had an issue with anything yihi as produced-any problems i have had were with the case manufacturer which is why i am glad pioneer4you is working on the getting the ipv4 case right before they ship. i can wait the extra time as long as it is correct when i get it.
all manufacturers hype the release date and they almost always are wrong. we should never believe the chinese mod makers when they promise a release date- by now i recognize it will be wrong and patiently wait for the actual arrival. in most cases i have forgotten about the order and it becomes a surprise piece of vapemail- and who doesn't like a surprise piece of vapemail? just relax, it gets here when it gets here.....

That's going to be the biggest draw back IMHO.

I'd personally rather have parallel batteries with buck and boost, allowing for longer run times. Of course, if the 330 chip series had both buck and boost, there would be no point in the more expensive 350 series.

well if thats what you see as the biggest draw back -- good news... there should be no difference in what you see in battery life between a regulated parallel mod or series mod. The wattage is being controlled in either scenario -- so the mah of the combined batteries stays the same regardless of series or parallel configuration.

In non-regulated builds you will notice a difference in the life of the batteries, but you would be sending double the voltage to the coil when in series so they drain faster... thats not the case with a regulated mod...

Exactly. I can't wait to get mine. Sure, it's an ugly duckling, but aren't they all when one takes a step back. lol
