The joules is for temp control using nickel.
When using kanthal it will still show watts.

good for you!-you got it for $5 less than i paid but i can live with that, not enough of a difference to get me upset. in a way that is what i like about buying my yihi sx minis-the price is pretty much the same for everyone so no one feels like they got the shaft. an sx mini vendor must promise to sell it at a certain price or they are cut off from yihi. yes, it is price fixing but , like i said, no one gets robbed about the price. anyway , hope for all of us, regardless of what we paid, they arrive soon and we can be vaping these awesome mods. i know the temp control and everything else chip-related will work just fine 'cause yihi hasn't let me down yet-never had an issue relating to anyone of their boards/chips and they had better not start now! soon now, i can feel it.......
My advice. If you can afford it and want it, get it.
But if you're stretching your budget to buy one of these things, then wait for the second production run because just about every new device to hit the market comes out with refinements after the initial run, some right on the heels of the initial release, sometimes a few months later.

Samsung 25R, LG HE4 are going to be the best bet for this mod.

This is the first device I have ever pre-ordered, so how long does this process take on average? I am the most impatent person when it comes to recieving vape mail so this is killing me. Has not even been 24 hours since I ordered it and I have check my email a dozen or so times for am update

Well.. it's kind of a bad move getting in to a pre-order this late in the game if you are in a rush... Hopefully you are in your vendors first round of deliveries... know what I mean?
Treat it like an order from FastTech and put it out of your mind then next thing you know the beast will arrive and make for a good day
Pre-orders are commonly delayed, I hear that the date for IPV4 is now 4/10 to ship -- but thats likely to change again...
If its bugging you the day after you ordered it I would just wait until people have them in stock and order then ...
FYI guys, I emailed my preferred UK vendor about the IPV4 which he listed on the site the other day. His response (dated March 31st):
Arrival times might vary vendor by vendor, but I assume the general message of it being delayed a week from original estimates so they could pre-install the TC firmware will apply to all vendors.
So I guess your best hope is that it arrives at the vendor mid-week (remembering that the beginning of the week is an Easter holiday for many countries) and then you get it by end of week.
Of course, I don't know what he means by "shipped to us" - does he mean he expects to receive it next week, or that it will leave China next week?
What I think we can say for certain is don't expect to receive yours this week

Thanks for the update Bloke! This mod is going to be worth the wait. My Istick 50 watt is a good device so I'm not without a good vape.
Well i have found a solution for my impatience, i borrowed my buddies ipv mini v2 for temp until the 4 arrives which is soon hopefully
FYI- word is they are being shipped on 4-10. seems pretty firm from a reliable vendor....figure 2 weeks until they are in your hands....no sweat.....
i've seen this mod on pre-order priced in the $60's- heck, it could be made of paper with this board/chip and it would still be totally worth it. p4you has a pretty good track record so you know it is going to be darn good. definitely going to be the latest candidate for the title "best mod for the $$$"(or maybe just best mod period.) when people get their hands on it and it performs as well as i expect watch sales of this explode. a true temp control ,dual battery mod for well under $100?it will currently be the champ until the next best thing comes along-looks like 2015 is going to be a fantastic time to be a vapor and the year has really only just started......

Good info, thanks. Of course here in the UK we're going to get screwed.. my preferred vendor - who is generally cheapest on everything he stocks - shows it at £60 which is $90.
Damn annoying how we seem to pay the same figure in £ as it costs in $, despite the 1.5:1 exchange rate! Especially when a lot of this stuff is coming from China anyway.
Oh well, it's still going to be everything you said for £60/$90 anyway!
