Good to hear, sometimes USPS just kicks the bucket with a shipment, lol

Looks like everyone who ordered from Wake and Vape got theirs in hand without major fanfare (stupid USPS with you, but at least it is there and in one piece) :)

Yea I can't hold wakeandvape responsible for how long it took for to get, it was all down to the awesome USPS service, and Ashley from wakeandvape replied quickly to my emails and tried to help as much as she could.

Anyone have any indication when the black ones will finally be released? I'm glad I switched to silver as the IPV4 is my regular ADV device now, but I would love to pick up a black one as well when they're finally available. Of course, if the Sigelei 75w TC or something cooler gets released before the black IPV4 I'll have more to think about.

I think that Vape Royalty is saying 5/26. Take that with a grain....make that an entire block of salt.

Be using power mode for the time being, already have 2 TC mods and not bothered trying it yet, I like a warm vape and enjoy my vape the way it is already, so not been in any rush to try TC, if that changes in the future, then I am well prepared for mods :)

It is very simple to replicate pm vape in TC mode. You simply have to build your coils and wick them correctly and set the temperature to the correct setting. I have built and wicked coils on both my Mut X v3 and my Lemo ver2 and the vape has been so hot it almost hurt. I tuned those builds down obviously, but one of the biggest problems with TC is it requires us to build differently to get the same result if that is what we are chasing. Personally I like TC built to deliver a medium vape super consistently.

I received an IPV4 for review a couple of weeks ago and finally fired it up this morning for the first time. Running in TC mode with an authentic Lancia (terrific TC atty, BTW)... single coil, 30ga tempered Ni200, 0.19Ω at 20J and 410F. Outstanding vape.

While I haven't done extensive testing, I'm pretty sure I like the SX330V4S TC implementation more than my old Evolv equipped Hana V4d. The Lancia, with the same build, is what I used on the Hana. The IPV4 delivers a better vape in my entirely subjective opinion.

I typically sell or PIF all the gear I receive for reviews. I may just keep this one.

Thought you had a black one for a minute, then realized you just took the picture as a silhouette!

Well, temp set to 410F didn't prevent a dry hit. The wick also scorched before temp protection started kicking in. I'll dial the temp down a bit and see how it does.

edit: upon further examination, this was user error. Out of curiosity, I mashed the up and down buttons to set the resistance again and it registered at 0.35. Pulled the atty off and put it on my meter which read it at 0.28. Tightened the grubs, which had become a touch loose, and resistance dropped down to 0.15, which is where it's supposed to be. So, the jumping resistance must have been screwing with TC.

Got mine from W&V today. So far, I like it. Just a tip for those who haven't got theirs yet. Make sure to adjust the joules setting if using ni200. It comes set at 50 joules, and if your coil is made for 25 and you fire it at 50 joules and vape it, you might not like the taste. Don't ask me how I know this. [emoji37] Also, do you guys have a clicky fire button? My adjustment buttons are nice and clicky, but the fire button seems soft. Works fine though.
