Question, if I do the tape and pencil eraser trick to see the screen better, is the mirror finish on the inside of the screen or the outside. I seem to remember that it's the inside, but I want to be sure. Thanks.

Yeah it's the inside. I still haven't done mine - turned out I used it outside less than I expected :) But when I do I plan to do the pencil eraser version just because it seems easiest! I bought a pack of various high grit sandpapers, 1k, 2k, 3k, but doesn't seem much point if an eraser works just as well.

Ok, I need some advice. I got the silver IPV4 from Wake and Vape while waiting for the black one I have on order from smog. This soft firing button is really bugging me. I like that there is no loud clicking noise, but I'm afraid with as little of resistance that it takes to fire it, the button is not going to last. Not sure if this would be considered a defect since the mod fires when button is pushed. It takes about 1/3 of the amount of pressure to fire it than it does to push adjustment buttons, which are nice and clicky. If I can return it for a replacement, it will be a couple of more weeks in return and reshipping. Kind of defeats the purpose of why I got it. I will probably have my black one before getting a replacement back for this one, if they would exchange it. Plus I pay return shipping which also defeats the purpose of ordering this one at such a good price. Did I mention that this really sucks. What would you guys do. I have many mods and this firing button is not even as close to as good as the ones I have a years use on.

I would return it, broceries. And try to get compensated for the return shipping. It's not supposed to be that way. If everybody were to not return defective products, then manufacturers would have no incentive to put out well-made products/up their QC. Just my opinion.

I returned the iStick 50w 3 times, because it's just the principle of the thing - whether I paid 50 cents or 50 dollars, it's supposed to work the way it's advertised. I guarantee if the money you spent on the IPV4 wasn't "working properly," your vendor/P4Y would have something to say about it lol.

I posted before, but only got 2 resposes. Before I try to possibly return this one, which royally sucks big time after waiting almost 3 months already on black, is everyone else's fire button as clicky as your adjustment buttons or a lot easier to activate with no apparent clicking like the one I received? Any responses will make my decision easier. Thank you.

after reading your post i double checked mine and the fire button has an audible click.....have you also been monitoring your battery drainage with a DMM?......this would be my primary concern, when i first got mine i really did not pay much attention until i noticed the difference in voltage when re-charging and then i started keeping a close eye out ....i tell ya if you don't feel comfortable with it then send it back.......i'm still waiting to hear something back with my Vendor on my issue....hope the best for ya.

Mine is of the non clicky variety also....while the up and down buttons make an audible click.
Thank you.

Thanks sando. Maybe some are just more firm than others. Might be the nature of the beast. I took the first set of batteries out of it last night to charge them. The battery directly below the 510 section read at 3.20 and the other at 3.21. Seems close enough for battery drainage.
