yea 3.7 is at about the half mark on the screen reading on the ipv4....

i take mine all the way to the cut-off when i want to check the mAh of my batts on my VC2....i really like this feature on the VC2 it lets you know when your battery is going bad......

been doing the 3.7 thing since i started vaping on all my devices, i still have and use VTC5's that are well over 1 1/2 yrs old in my mec's and they still hold a dang near perfect charge yet i rotate at least 25 18650's.....most all the new batts i buy now are Sammy's for my regulated devices and of-course button-top AW 2200mAh for my Woodvil REO's & button-top Sammy's for my metal LP's

man i tell yall i'm just a happy camper to have a good functioning ipv4, i have always really liked this device and glad i got it from a great vendor who stands behind their products when something goes wrong...this experience has had a good outcome for me and no damage was done.....if i had been sleeping when my melt-down happened i could have woken up to a bad situation......so now just for safety reasons for me i'm taking my batts out of all my regulated devices at night before bed even tho it might take me an hour to do so hehe....i have too many devices i need to open a B&M i could run my local store out of business :D

OMG?! "Sammy's" LOL! Did you get the "Rachel Ray" implant?

No offense intended it just bugs the P-Watty out of me to hear "Sammy" and "EVOO"... o_O

Your posts contain a LOT of good info and tips and I appreciate it. :toast:

This coming from a diehard Kansas Jayhawk basketball fan too!

I was basically doing this the first time just to see where the iPV4's cutoff point is, it was not my intention to infer that I do this on a regular basis.

I usually pull my batteries when there's about a 20% level showing on the meter. I'll let you know where that's at with my iPV4 batteries voltage next time I pull them.

Just pulled my LG HE4 batteries at approximately the 20% mark on the battery meter and they're at 3.24 vdc each. No difference in the two.

I have an ipv3 and started to order this, saw the launch of the ipv3li and paused. It is 110 bucks has Tc and will upgrade to 200 watts. What are you ipv4 folks thinking?

A lot of us don't really have a need for 200 watts and it will utilize 2 18650's just like the iPV4 does. Plus most of us bought the iPV4 prior to the release of this. By the way, I found it for $100. Honestly, there isn't enough information on the iPV3-Li yet for me to justify a purchase.

Not saying I would ever need 200 watts either but just goes to show you get the latest greatest and the same Frickin manufacturer will beat it's specs within a couple months. I haven't even touched temp control yet and am thinking I'm still gonna wait but dang I need another job just for the shinyitis I keep coming down with.

Lol you're right. Plus it doesn't help if you have one-uppers for friends lol. My buddy had a 20-watt iStick. Naturally, I had to get the 30-watt iStick. That, in turn, led to him getting the 50-watt iStick. I, then, got the iPV4 100-watt. My other friend then decides to get the Snow Wolf 200-watt lol. It's craziness.

Anyone have any fixes for the slightly wobbly door, it seems to slide up and down like a millimeter. Any ideas?

Also as a side note: I over dripped so bad on this thing today I was so worried it was going to be soaked on the inside. I opened it up and not one drop of juice got in there, even with juice soaking the underside of the RDA nothing leaking through the 510 or else where. I was impressed.
