Well I decided to get the silver ipv4, but in order to change colors, vapenw had to void and refund my order. And well, i am really considering just not re-preordering this damn thing.
I personally think we will be waiting till the the 1st half of May to see them, gearbest now says the black won't probably ship till the end of the month.
I hope everyone does realize the black model only has a black battery cover, and the body is silver. The silver model is silver battery cover and silver body. Silver is being packaged for shipment by Friday, and black is having the covers added to the package for shipment of the first batch for next week.
There is mixed reports of what the black will be, but when I ordered, I believed it was only the battery cover is black, so I am fine with that. or if there is more black to it, will be a bonus, but actually wouldn't want the whole thing to be black, be too much black then.
i changed my order at VR to Silver, Zack said they would ship first.....might just spray paint my battery cover blk.
I think its just different angles/lighting on the top one. The bottom one is a render. There is only one silver.
Personally I've had no issues with the Pioneer4You spring-loaded connectors on their other products.
As a matter of fact, theirs is the best spring-loaded connector I've used to date. Strong spring and very durable.
I don't think that it will be an issue with regards to the ohm resistance readings as with some of the other devices.
I believe that P4You is really being careful about the release of this product. Their wanting to ensure that the device will work as per
their engineering specs. It's better to delay shipments rather than release a product prematurely and then have warranty issues crop up.
However, I do empathize with those who preordered and are now waiting with bated breath for their products to arrive. I've been there with
other products so I understand. P4You I don't believe is using this as a marketing ploy, but then we all have our opinions on this

As IML8 has stated: people's selective memory will kick in and all the BS will be forgotten.
That top one is Photoshopped, originated from gearbest. Its basically not worth noting.

I've been doing the same. I've been waiting for this mod for well over a month now, but I haven't preordered it. I wanted to wait until it was in a few other peoples hands so I could find out if there were any initial problems with it. I hate being a quality control tester. So the delays drive me nuts because I've had the money in my pocket ready to spend, but at the same time I'm not willing to jump on the bandwagon until I'm certain they delivered a quality product. Can't wait until people start receiving them so I can find out how well they work and if there are any problems with them.
The top one was not grabbed from gearbest, but it is the same picture they use. What about this picture which I have looked at closely and it does not appear to be photoshopped. The black cover matches that black faceplate. I am not denying that Pioneer4U may have changed plans and are now producing a body that is black, but the pictures they gave to resellers to advertise and sell the two models are what they are currently. We will really know for sure over the next few weeks.

So i have decided to buy a red sig 150w, and I'll pick one of these up down the road once any teething issues are ironed out. I'm sick of waiting lol
I don't care where you got it from, it originated from gearbest. Same story with the 2nd pic. p4y has not release any pics of the black to any vendor, any vendor stating otherwise is making stuff up.
But like you say, we'll see for ourselves soon enough. (hopefully by May).
Also, it does look like a photoshopped version of the silver pic.
