That's great Sando. I keep hoping that the boss at Element vape is off this weekend and they'll at least respond to my inquiry. I've never had to deal with Asmodus, but I have the feeling it would try me already limited patience.

Again, a big thanks to you and HD for the heads up on the heat fin idea. I did order the the hcigar ones (see limited patience statement above). When I woke up from my old man nap, Desert Vapes had my shipping notice in my inbox!!

yea they are really quick on getting orders out, yet first class always seems to drag a bit.

I would love to know how you did that.

Tapped from my LG G3

First, use tape to mark off where the sides of the visible screen area are on the front of the plastic cover.

Remove the atty and batteries, loosen the two hex screws, remove the plastic cover over the button and screen area. Using the tape you put on the front as a guide, mask off the back of the plastic. This is to keep you from taking off too much of the mirroring, as the area under that plastic window is pretty ugly. Then, using a polishing compound like Mothers or if you have one handy, a Dremel with a polishing wheel and polishing compound, have at the masked off area. It doesn't take long at all.

Remove the tape, clean the plastic off and reassemble.

Enjoy being able to read the display in daylight.

Congrats on that one! Now you won't have to do any "shade tree" engineering to rectify that.
BTW, how is the screen's appearance and brightness of the display?
I can see it outside. I had the mirrored finish and sold it because I didn't want to rig it. It is as bright as my SX Mini M Class. It is a huge improvement.

I started getting the rattlesnake sound, or at least it was more pronounced, once I started building below 0.1. It might sound uneven and rowdy, but the vape is full flavored and "gentle" at the same time. I just can't believe that this eighty dollar investment has proven more effective than my vapor flask

Built up my CLT V3 with 28g ni200 2.5mm id dual coils coming out to 0.065ohm. Been vaping it on my black ipv4 and not only does it work great, but it looks great as well! Love the ipv4 for dual coil setups, not so easy building dual nickel coils on a 3 post deck, but I'm getting used to it.

Been using my black ipv4 all weekend, and the extremely dim screen of the silver has been replaced with an easier to see version. Loving it!
