Do any m class owners notice any significant differences between the temp control of both devices? I'm really digging yihi's take on temp control and am wondering if the m class is even smoother than the ipv4. Basically sx350j vs sx330v4s
They both work as advertised. Sxm is a bit more geeker in the sense it has more feature's. I love both in fact I ordered a black iPV4 and am waiting for a stealth black Sxm to complete my collection.
Edit: compliment my collection, forgot about the Sigelei 75 Tc, iPV3 LI and D2 those will be must have's

Can you expand on how you like how it works better?

Seems to give a more flavorful and cloudy vape with the same tank and coil. It may have been the "powerful" mode it defaults on at first, but I like the vaping experience better in standard mode as well, compared to the IPV4. Not saying the IPV4 vapes bad, just that I like it better.

It is pretty subjective, I know.

I agree completely as I have both and it seems the sx has a fuller tasting vape almost like the heat is more consistent and gives an even flavor over a longer pull. Just my observation.

I don't agree... They both are the same to me... But with same atty on both mods, You can't use the same settings but you can get the same flavor... The edge goes to m class because you can see the temp rising which I use for my tc diagnostic tests (if coil is reaching temp) the IPv4 does not do this

I must have a bum IPV4. I had been using it with an Atlantis with a nickel coil and keep getting burnt hits on it. I put the same tank and coil on the SX Mini M Class and the rDNA40 and no burnt hits. I've given up trying to use TC on the IPV4.

IPV4 is AWESOME! I have yet to have a single problem with it (except the horrible mirror finish screen, which I fixed nicely). Temp control works very well, the build quality on mine is great. No gaps, no rattles, hefty enough to not feel like a toy, and a flawless finish. My favorite mod to date.

Removing the mirror finish makes the screen SO much easier to read, especially outside in the bright sunlight. With the mirror finish, I could almost not read the screen at all. I would have to put my hand over it to shade it, and hold it close to my face to read. That was a horrible decision to make the screen like that. Now, it's as bright as any other mod I own.

Got my IPV4 at Vaporshark yesterday, Great mod! The issue I am having is a slightly muted flavor. .210 resistance at anywhere from 10-50J and 415 degrees. Bringing it over 460 degrees gives a slight dryhit. Anyone else experience this or have any pointers. Single coil as well.

Also, I am looking to buy a new topper. I want something that works with temp control, Someone please tell what u think is best based on experience.

I was thinking either a mutation x 4 or some type of RTA. Needs to work with temp control. I was thinking either Herakles or Kanger Sub-ohm

Edit: I just found out out Herakles head coils are not yet available =( Still might buy it

Here lurking due to interest in IPV4 but anywho...I love the subtank mini on my Rdna 40. I've been eying the Herakles as well. A friend that has every subtank, Atlantis, melo, arctic tank says Herakles outperforms all in flavor and vapor. I know my local shop has the coils, I can't imagine them not being available anywhere online?

Ahh, a quick google search does show them available online at vapordna and vape royalty. :) hope this helps!

I thought the recommended build range for TC coils on the IPV4 were much lower. Somewhere around .1 iirc. You may want to check out the directions.

EDIT: Per the instruction manual, recommended resistance for TC on the IPV4 is .05 to .1 ohm

I think you missed a zero there. The IPV4 goes down to .05 on Nickel coils in TC mode.

Edited to add - I've seen spec sheets that say .12ohm to 1ohm...but since when does P4Y know what they are doing? LOL

Frankly, I don't want to see a 1ohm nickel coil, that thing would be HUGE.

I am looking for nickel coil heads that can be used for temp control, Ni200 Herakles Coil Heads. VaporDNA does not carry them and Vape Royalty does carry them but lists there stock status as "Coming Soon"

I've noticed something strange which others have stated about one battery being drained more then the other one. I had left my mod on but with no atomizer on it, and noticed that top part of the mod was warmer then the rest of the mod (not room temp). Anyone expierence this and/or know whats up? I"m not using it atm because of this, batteries out and all.
