IPV4 Thoughts

Well I happened to have a little extra jingle in my pocket this week and was looking at snagging a new MOD for my vaping habits. I currently have an iStick 30 with a Subtank mini for the fiance, a Hades mech & a smok XPro M80 Plus for me and my Subtank mini, Delta 2, Turbo RDA, and 2x Dark Horse RDA's. The M80 is a great device for me (if you exclude the "Temp Control") but I'd like something else so I'm not switching tanks all the time between devices. So, I'm looking for a recommendation.

My current front runner is the IPV4 as it has 100 watts of power, fires down to .1, has removable 18650 batteries, has a solid temp control feature, and I think looks sexier than it's "baby" brother, the IPV3.

Any other devices I should consider?

I had this decision the other day as a BDay present to myself. It was between the IPV4 and the Snow Wolf 200W. I ended up going with the SW200 as it just seems like an awesome device. My order total came out to $103.25 for the SW. It's got a new TC chipset that is also being used on the Sigelei 75W (rumor is the SW is actually a joint collaboration between Sigelei and Pioneer4You in their new venture GreenLeaf), and I was sold the second I saw Twisted420 do the dry cotton burn test. It's 200W of pure power with TC that goes up to 70W (The highest on the market until the Sigelei 75W lol that uses the same chip) for an awesome price. Another aspect that completely sold me was the form factor. It's about the size of an iStick 50W with a little more height and width.

iStick: 83mm X 45mm X 23mm
SW200: 100mm X 52mm X 25mm

I'd like at least 100w at some of my lower builds could take advantage of it, don't really want to go with 80w or less as it wouldn't feel much like an upgrade. Temp control would be nice as I'd like to play with it but not an absolute necessity. I'd like dual 18650 removable batteries, has to be able to fire down to .1, other than that I'm pretty open.

lol, there's no way I will ever use 200W. I will likely never break 100W. However, I got it because the form factor, and a new refined TC chip. And the fact that I can go to 200W... Pole entered into competition.

i like the ipv4. I think the snow wolf looks great as well. Dont have one but a co worker i think may be getting one so I might be able to comment on it soon enough.

Most of my vaping is on a Kanger Subtank mini so I seldom go above 20 watts but with the IPV 4 I get the battery life I wanted and plan on trying out the temp control as soon as I get some nickel wire.

Most of my vaping is on a Kanger Subtank mini so I seldom go above 20 watts but with the IPV 4 I get the battery life I wanted and plan on trying out the temp control as soon as I get some nickel wire.

The temp control is pretty nice on the subtank i seem to like it a lot.

The local B&M said I would have to do a software upgrade to the IPV4 for the temp control but Pioneer4you website says it already has the temp control feature and all I will need is a nickel coil. Have some 26 ga nickel on its way and will try it as soon as I get it and build a coil for the STM.
